PVP balance idea
Ft people They maybe know mage is unbalance class, because the higher the lvl, unlimited mana
My idea For balanc expected mage all class
the higher the level, cool down skill waiting time
For example
500 lvl higher cool down 5 seconds
1000 lvl higher cool down 10 seconds
1500 lvl higher cool down 15 seconds
2000 lvl higher cool down 20 seconds
3000 lvl higher unlimited waiting time

Re: PVP balance idea
Mages have no skills. They have spells. Therefore, they have no cooldown to balance. With the addition of magic resistance on gear, much of the advantage of mages was lost in pvp.
Re: PVP balance idea
Unlimited mana is what make them so powerful
If mage mana regen become like HP regen then if will be balanced
That mean they should stay somewhere without doing anything for regen mana

Re: PVP balance idea
Even if a mage was limited to 4 or 5 casts per second instead of 7, it would go along way to curb their awesome advantage as well as diminish the need for auto clicking that some players employ. Additionally, it would be nice to see an individual heal spell introduced to stop the silly heal blocking tactics.bbardiya wrote:Unlimited mana is what make them so powerful

....and healing while frozen is down right dumb
My thoughts at this moment in time.
Re: PVP balance idea
The high spell resistance just make more time for kill but they keep with the advantage yet. A normal pvp fight vs a mage just can be won if the mage was full mana or an person blocked his heal spell. That really need be fixed.
But no only mages pvp need to be fixed, look at dwarves...

Re: PVP balance idea
Each class can have something to complain, nothing new.
Take the class you choose as it is and instead of asking modifications in game, try to use ur PERSONAL abilities to make your character special,
as some players already do with good results, problems are made for solving them , limits are made to find a different solution.
I m acting this way , it works most of times.

My thoughts at this moment in time.
I was always under the impression that mages could cast 7 times per second, however after much testing it seems any time I cast on my mage nub if go faster than 4-5 half of my taps get ignored completely.
Tested by myself with the armor skill, by slowing myself down with 4-5 taps per second only vs 6 ( I can't do 7 it's an odd number and throws me off) I gained more armor points tapping 4 times than 6.
Was by myself, and allowed the armor stat /mana to return to normal before starting again. I tested it at least 50 times at each speed, and the slower one always won. It's like when I spam tapped it ignored half my taps. Instead of ignoring every other tap it should just ignore anything OVER the limit, not filter out half the taps.
That being said, I never went over the supposed 7 casts per second limit yet I was still being throttled. So either there has been yet another hidden update or I just missed that update somewhere.
It's complete bullsnot that nothing is ever mentioned about them, which opens up a plausible defense for no player being able to be punished for bug abuse simply because how is the playerbase supposed to know the difference between bug abuse and just another hidden update that now allows what they're doing?
As for mages in pvp, the only op thing they have to me is the infinite heal. Lowering damage output and increasing the damage resistance to mages only lengthens the duration of a 1v1 roughly same level fight but the result is the same. Infinite heal will always win against limited heal.
