Meh, the game has it's good days and bad.
Weekends are terrible, as everyone is on, which means you can expect to see the worst of the worst.
But really, it can happen any day, at any time.

Sometimes, I wonder, if there's any other MMO out there that can offer a similar experience.
Although, many look prettier, and some may seem to play better, the thing is, they don't seem to have the same nice people found here.
Most seem to be filled with the horrible ones.
That's been my experience anyway.

Good to know, because this is my first MMOG. Looked at one other just briefly and left my character standing on the steps to the lighthouse at the beginning of the game and deleted it. And FT will be my last!

Well, maybe one day, that perfect MMO will come along.
Maybe it will be FT in a future update, or maybe it will be something else.
I'm sure, someone out there may figure out what I'm talking about one day.

The only perfect MMOG will be FT in the afterlife, and there I will have two black dragons called:

Don't understand that: 353 = 706 to BUY ($$$$) buy, but as a shop pet at lvl 360

We need another "Shop Pet" pet at say level 30,000, so the pet is lvl 15,000 and it will cost 1b.

I till be called and look like a:

Kangeroo
- pouch has 100 slots
- kicks enemies to death
- Dmg: 200m
- Freq: 250
- DEX: 30k
- ARM: 1.75m
- SPD: 12
- RND: 2

- and plays football (soccer) with the pet: Ball

OK, for old and new reader alike please have a look at the very first post of this thread. MadMagus gave me an intro that just has to be seen. If you're new to the thread ... why are you here? Do you start a book by reading the last chapter?

Spent some time with Mad last night mining for mith, and except for the 'location' it was like when I first started playing FT. Mad was one of my early mentors. Last night he reminded me of this, from the first post:

YEA! Isn't that something; level 80, and here I am four months later at level 227

But my trip through FT land came with a lot of help from various people. And in turn, has turned LostKnight into a little piece of all of you. At least that's how I feel about it.

I've had moments of and wanted to pack it in. However people from this thread picked me up, shook me a little with a "What are you doing!", a kick in the rump and a "get back in there!" OK, I'm still here!

A few posts back I posted an image called "Dream a little Dream" everything below the blue line is a fantasy, a dream, a part of my "what if" game ...

For example:
GOLGREN was the first player I saw with black dragon pets ... so in my afterlife when I get to level 3000 and have an afterlife credit card I'll have "The BLACKGRENS". It's night, you see a flash; you're a crispy critter!

Jessie Valdez was the first player I saw with the Lightning Blitzbees so the "JV Buzzers". You hear buzzing - too late!

But the ones I like best, my old affiliation: the R.C.A.F.: Royal Canadian Armed Fairies. I was thinking of F.T.A.F. or R.C.F.T.A.F. but naaaaa didn't fit Like R.C.A.F.

More on my What If I Had Game:
- A new sword the "LostBlade", lvl 2m, that spawning pet killer would be pushing up daisies {pixels}
- the "balls" as pets ... MAWHAHAHA! - Does anyone actually have them?
- - but then I'd want: the Kangaroos! {see back a few posts}
- a house on each map! OH YEA! {less clan maps} - Can you imagine 38 houses?
- Skills: Mining, Chopping, Fishing, Crafting all at level: 1000

Then I wake up ..... POP!

Not long ago I met someone and gave her a Mith Axe and a few others things 'just to help'. She (because her character is a she) asked why I was helping her.

Because others have helped me, and it's what I do.

Crafted a Mith Pick and told her yesterday to pick it up. Will happen today if we are online at the same time

Then since I had already crafted a 75 Plate for her in prep for her lvl 75, which she got yesterday she'll get that today too. Now I need to make a Mith Rod for her. She has 'bumped into' a couple of my alts and she was always helping someone, so I know I choose well with her.

Just logged in and got a /msg, she'd like the plate to wear but will continue trying on her own to make one as it raises her xp and she will get to help someone else.

Now in the process I met someone(75) in the iron ore mine looking to make 2 lvl 75 plates with just a common pick, one to wear, he still had the 50 plate on and one for the quest. We chatted, I explained a few things. Like "Succeeded in Failing" raises his crafting skill points.

"HUH?"

So I explained about clicking on "Friends" and the "Hammer" OHOOOOO!

Now since one of my alts is at (71) and will need a lvl 75 plate soon I went to town with the mine »» crafter »» mine »» crafter »» mine »» crafter trek. Filling myself and pets with iron ingots before trying for the plates. Once full of Iron ingots, I crossed my fingers and went for the plates. Well I'll be, got three of them. I expected 1 or 'maybe' 2 - but three! AWESOME!!!!

So this morning I sent a /msg that I have two lvl 75 plates "IF" he wants them.
- Just logged on and made contact in game. He was still mining and still failing ... and he was explaining to someone called "canxan" about the stuff I explained yesterday. Cool, he was happy to accept the plates!

There's another side to this too ... a selfish side ... I was running low on meteors stones since I gave half of mine away recently because I had no magic trunks - which was fixed up almost as soon as I gave away the stone.

Does all that make sense? Written with a bit of RL bad news (death in wife's family) and had to run out to store and veggie stand .. and clean bathroom and hall...

Nope.
Same with quests.

At the core mechanics of the game, "standard", +1, and +2 items are actually different items.
When the game requests an item, it only checks for the ID# of that item typically - not the IDs of the variants.
This is why you'll see so much of "buy xxxxx no +" at start map

OK, didn't level but had an interesting day.

A while back a friend was looking for a 150 blade. He is 130ish so he's getting ready. We mined, he bought a couple of claymores, I tried crafting. FAIL. Next day I thought "Why not" bought 6 claymores and went mining.
BINGO! 2 lvl 150 blades. Needless to say my friend got his! And I had one left over been trying for a while to sell it at MadHouse 0,0 with no luck. So I sold it in a shop and spent the 13m on claymores.

Spent time between iron mine and blacksmith until I was FULL is Iron ingots ... went to The Rock and started crafting. With that load of ingots I crafted 3 more lvl 150 blades and still have a bunch of claymores to go through. I couldn't sell it for 17m but I did mange to turn it into 39m.

So: THANK YOU FOR NOT BUYING IT!

And then I took a break to help a friend with the "planks, iron and fire arrow" quest. He's(35) and since he was ready to go give the man the stuff I told him he's need a pet as he only had 8 free slots plus the space freed with the planks iron and bows, that the man was going to ask for 30 fish. OK so he bought an Ice Monster. I escorted him with the Staff Stans just to be sure the Ice Monster made it alive. Then I helped him fish. He had never fished before would have taken forever but I'm sending him fish almost as fast as he can accept them.

While fishing I told him: "Fishing, mining, chopping and crafting all part of game, start practising."

That done he went and got his armour and was off to make legs. I went to bed!

Today - another day in the iron mine.

It's rather fitting... the map is a madhouse near the bridges, and Mad has his house there...
