I don't generally think this is a good idea, not even because of bots but it would allow people to just afk all day if they are a high enough level. You could just walk off to a spot where good xp monsters are (like yellow archers etc) and just let your auto-target ai kill them. Not a good idea.

We are talking about target system for player vs player. Not player vs monster.

It's become hard to detective third-party programs with AUTO ATTACK.

Na with a game this simple it would fairly simple to just write a warden script into the game programing. Basically it would monitor player reaction times when skilling. If the speed is consistent, where as a human would have flawed movements, delayed reactions ect. The algorithm would show the difference, if the patern is consistent the program would flag the player for a mod to review for final decision.

i think there is already a warden script in place? plus there is a difference between auto target and auto attack. auto attack already exists in pvm lol u attack the first and it keeps going until there are no more.
but what were after is a auto target for pvp so to squash the delay time between being attacked and having to select the target. then click attack. in short it gives weaker players a few vital seconds of time to retaliate, which may be crucial. it would also make it a fair fight.

Let's say you want to kill a guy from other clan,you're a mage,and your mana is enough to kill only that person..
Then other people,could be his clan members,join in..
That is normal to happen,but if those people attack you,and it auto targets all,your mana will be wasted on attacking all of them,doing almost no damage at all..And surely will be dead by the time you try to untarget each one.

True. I disagree too.
(Also dont talk about unfair for mages. Mages are enough OP.dont make them more)

Another reason: autofire. U know what will happen..

Well the auto target stuff is not good for a mage, especially in clan/group fights. A mage never targets all his enemies at once, unless he wants to heal or slow them down or they are lower than him. If there is some sort of on/off switch for auto, then it would be a nice addition.

yes a toggle would be an excellent idea as it would give mages the defensive with it off and other chars would find it beneficial to have it on.
