Do you have in your questbook an entry inviting you to go talk with Proditor?
He is that Nelrogg's friend living in Mage Tower.

It would be very useful, in order to help you, if you write (here or in a PM if you don't want it public) a list of the sentences in your questbook

About your meri account and the non-speaking character in map 1.-2

Please check if you did these actions, in this order:

1) talk with the 3 mages in the blue dungeon located underground below the Central House (entrance in map 2.-3)

2) go to the altar in Dungeon of Doom (entrance at the end of Teleport Maze) and talk with it

3) talk with Proditor (in Mage Tower)

4) talk to Nelrogg, in the camp site in map 2.-3

If you did these 4 points, and the man in the snow land still doesn't talk to you, please let me know

Please check (1) if you have humans AND orcs requests for the missing part in your questbook. I you have just one of them, the chest will not give you the item.
If (1) is ok, then there is one of the chests in ogres halfling dungeon that needs being clicked twice. The first time you click it, it says something about its content. The second time, it gives you the item.

"Reporting" the post is not correct.
You mentioned that you have the quest in your quest log.
Ardesia says, there are two quests, and you must click the chest twice to get the item.
Please, double check you have met these requirements.

Please, check if you have BOTH these sentences in your quest book:

• Find the missing part in the cave south west of the fortress
• Get the missing part for the Orc forge

Let us know if you have BOTH, or if you have just one, or if you have none.
