Just to fill everyone in on the mage mana status. All mana is limited they call it unlimited because the more lvls u get the more mana you get. A mage can and will run out of mana even a 10k mage will eventually run out of mana. And regeneration of mana takes longer than regeneration of hp if you don't believe that them creat a mage and find out yourself. I have posted a solution for the balance situation for the mage class to be less OP over archers and melee classes the post is in CONCRETE SUGGESTIONS ON PVP BALANCE but it has not been implemented and I can't say it ever will be. But you guys need to realize mages are OP over mages too depending on the stats settings. For example if a 500 mage is set with high hp or even fair hp and a 400 mage is set all mana only. The 400 mage will beat the 500 mage because the bigger mage can't heal as fast as the lower mage is damaging him/her. And I personally can prove that a archer can over power a mage at the equivalent level or slightly bigger. A dwarf and ogre and swordsman has better odds IF they can keep the mage from moving than that because they naturally have more hp than a archer. This has been a issue with our players for 4 years and it's not gonna end any time soon. I don't wish to sound rude but y'all need to do what us older players had to do and either learn how to pvp and how to set your stats for it or create a mage and level it up for a while.

When a 10k mage runs out of mana? 1500 you can heal like 5-10mins without end the mana, sufficient time to win a 1vs1

I believe all classes are pretty fair with the exception of the mage. The power per sec is over powered even with certain resistants however I believe it can remain the same if the armor spell was removed. Heal on its own is a challenge when fighting a mage but when he/she can armor too it makes it almost impossible for anyone other then another mage to win. As of this moment most mages stat most mana giving them endless power to kill any other class being able to both heal and armor themselves but if armor spell was removed mages would need a better stat plan adding armor points or dex evening the playing field for all classes. This is simply a suggestion but I'm sure we can all agree the balance issue starts and ends with mages ;)

That's why players developed tactics to soak up heals with non-combatant allies

Lets focus please - This discussion is not talking about a group of players trying to defeat a lone Mage.

Those tactics you refer to were developed out of desperation to try and combat the unfair advantage a mage has over other classes.

As always, I'll point out how silly it is for a mage to heal while frozen, NO other class can act while frozen.

It appears that some who are posting on this subject are ignorant of higher level play where the mage truly becomes dominant.

Why is it always the Mage that is the focus of these class imbalance discussions?

Yeah I've never had a problem performing actions frozen or stunned. Tbh with practice someone spam stunning is easily broken even when several people are freezing you. Just comes down to inventory space IE freeze vs unfreeze.
