Since it might be useful on understanding what is causing thus black screen thing: it never happened to me (phone and tablet)

Juat had it happen again, I believe it's server side.

I've never really noticed it on my tablet before, usually it's my phone at start map however it happened today (19-11-2017. 18:05) FT

Same spot as usual, this time I was playing on my tablet instead of phone.

Again, GM account, 1837 FT time

happens to me regularly in different maps since about a week.
dont go back to login screen but black screen, reapear and pets beside me.

Around 18:20 FT happened again, this time on dungeon/map 197.197.

Was on tablet right in the middle of grinding, had I had weaker pets they'd have been lost for sure.

Great bug to have when you have 2 lightning blitzbees on you.

I've switched devices on my emulator a few times now, and I even completely reinstalled.
I'm no longer suffering from the bug, so I think it's likely device related - and probably, a memory issue.
I still think it's from something that was changed in the server side of code though, as I don't think there was a client update around the time this bug popped up.

Maybe just a superuser problem. Some emulators have root. I think that if the binaries are wrong it can affect :p

It happens to me everyday so after logging out I'll log back in and still black screen so I have to log out and in twice just to get rid of the black screen

What you describe is a different thing.

If you try and log on, when you're already logged on, you'll see the black screen as you describe.
The mechanic you're experiencing - is the delay of log out if you're under attack, by monster, or by another player.
When you disconnect while under attack- whether intentional or not - you'll be held in the game for a period of time; I *think* it's 11 seconds.
If you try to log in during that 11 seconds, you'll get a black screen - and need to hit back, and try again.
That is not a bug. It is the exact same thing that happens if a player tries to log onto an account already online. Can't have two

The previously described bug is a sudden thing, and you come back to the game immediately. It also seems device related. When I changed devices on my emulator, I no longer experienced it. (Took me a few tries).
