MadMikael sorry to hear this. But can i ask the reason to quit.
I would request you not to quit because you are one fine GM and this game needs people like u. And many many thanks to you for all your help and support you have given to innumerable players when they required and towards FT community.
Everyone will surely miss you

I chased after him last time but this time I'll let him walk away. GM can be so stressful I totally understand. GMs are supposed to be like video game police officers...But in reality most of the time we feel like glorified babysitters. Like little kids some players made me want pull my hair out(not all players)
So yes I totally understand

Sad news. but i can totaly understand.
know that the vast majority of players do appreciate all you have done. During all my playing years you have been the most active and accessible gm.
unfortunately that also means you got the most shit probably.
gm is a volunteers job and if the negatives outweigh the positives you are right to quit. i hope you stay as a player and have fun playing this great game instead of solving problems.

A great sadness in my heart. I'm the new guy on the block. The guy that came after starting the FT RPG game, started a thread and was gently convinced that I should join or at least try the MMOG version. MadMikael, pops in and ends up coming out of retirement. We met, and I from my side, became friends, I'm sure Mike feels the same. He put up with some pretty silly and dumb questions from me knowing this is the first MMOG I have ever played. He was an inspiration to me, and I hope MadMagus will continue to be.

He rapped my knuckles once and told me of Rule 11. Oh sorry, I had read them all but forgot. I made a lot of "Reports" to MadMikael in the beginning, then I recall telling him, "OK, no more reports unless I specifically say it is" everything else became a question, a thought, or just chatter between friends. And I told him a few times, he treats me differently than any other player and doesn't rap my knuckles when needed, I'd get mad. But that wasn't MadMikael's way, always fair, always just, and always helpful within the proper limits of his [GM] guidelines. KUDOS! for that Mike.

I wish MadMagus all the success in the world - have a good game Mad, you deserve it. Thank you for your work as a [GM], from the couple of months I have seen you working, you were excellent at your job. I'll miss you. For those that don't know I recently quit my job on another forum as Admin/Mod so I have an idea of how things are, but have no experience with the added pressure of being a [Game Moderator] Apparently from things read from others, it's a rough ride. I commend all [GM]

It has always surprised me that more users don't use the forums. So sad!

But hey we always need to look at the bright side right? You can freely enjoy the game now!!
Hopefully it will be easier on you and more fun! Games are supposed to be fun and a way to cool off! I know being a GM can be frustrating and stressful and hope you take all the time you can to enjoy FT!

I know how bad some players can be. So I just think you should enjoy the game and ignore those who try to ruin the fun.

I never forget that day when I was level 35 on my J Valdez. It still feels like it was yesterday and that feeling is WOW. That day I was very anxious and at the same time new in the game. I got an escort that wanted me to kill yellow archers so he brought me to the map 3,1.
When I arrived, he stood there, it was the coolest I had seen.
The first thoughts I was thinking about.
THERE IS THE KING. WOW,
is he a bot? Is he human, can I shoot him with my bow? Nah best that I let the Lion be, he may eat me, but then he started talking and I got totally shocked.
Even today, when I saw him in the game, he looks so unique (Everyone can wear Lion's skin, but there's only one real Lion King).

When I became a Watchmen and got the opportunity to work with the Lion King, I became so happy. Honestly, I did not know what to say. I guess it's the same feeling when you meet a real lion you are completely paralyzed and you get scared and maybe get bitten. I want you to know one thing, I'm very glad I've told you my experience to see you at the first time and this was before you decided to quit, but you already know what I have for opinions about your decision . At the same time I understand you. I have just tasted a small part of what you have swallowed and received. It is not easy and it is very stressful. I really hope you will find happiness again and that you will know that you are a good person with a warm heart and you want the best of all players. And you will always be my idol. Long live the king. ♡♡♡
