A mod didn't say that.

Given the relevance they give to privacy, I am so very tempted now to post in public the reasons why mutedawg has been jailed.
But I know what "reserved info" means and will not.

So, I'll just point out two details.

1 - this is a game, not real life. No one in the game staff jailed *the player*. We just halted for a little while his playing with some of his characters, fully in respect of game rules

2 - forum PMs are PRIVATE MESSAGES. Several countries have laws protecting privacy. To share with someone else the contents of a private message is a privacy violation. I am now formally requesting actions against mutedawg for sharing a screenshot of my PM to him, and benbaggen for posting it in a public forum post. We are in real life laws violations now

In many countries, it is. Including the one you live in.

benbaggen, you should stop... you're making a fool of yourself. I said the rulebreakers were pieces of garbage, and I stand by it. I haven't been a mod since back when we were actually referred to as mods... it has been YEARS. Additionally, your whole goal here is trying to limit the GMs ability to enforce rules... so not only are you defending 1 rulebreaker, you're actually attacking the very idea of having rules enforced in the first place; and to do that, you're literally quoting rules!! I've seen players make fools of themselves before here, and I'm encouraging you to stop rather than continue further down that path.

Also, even if a mod (GM) did say that rulebreakers were pieces of garbage, what's the problem with that? Yes, that is a good example to set for the rest of the gaming community... if everybody looked down on the rulebreakers instead of jumping on the forum to defend them, maybe they wouldn't break so many rules.

I've said many times that spam sellers are losers, scum, and other minor insulting words.
I stand by those remarks as well.
I even make jokes about it now, as they are not such a huge deal anymore.
