I believe level 300 jade amulet is used to craft ruby amulet.

BUT
The updated item list MadMichel posted on 11 Oct does not mention the pterie dropping them.
killed about 4bn xp. of pteries without drop.
I do not know if it was a ptery or a baby ptery, but
YES on a jade pendant drop. I was grinding for a few hours and got two enchanted rings and one jade pendant drop.

I agree. I dropped a jade pendant there earlier this week. I think they are from the bright yellow pteries as they don't appear as often as the baby pteries.

the pterys will drop it..kill enough u will get it too ! They drop rings and pendants
