I totally get the position that it's a fine tool when it's used properly. Those players who use it as a chance to attack others or demand immediate help ruin it. How many incomplete "reports" do you see there as well?

Kind of a segue to another suggestion. (I think it's been made before.)

Instead of a blank PM to the GM inbox would it be better to have a form? If you're reporting anything it would require character name, approximate time, location, and type of issue. There would obviously be plenty of space to enter whatever info desired.
