I've thought about making a discord server for the game in the past, but never did due to the fact that I thought nobody on FT used discord lmao. Maybe I should have hah

Well to be "Official" it would need Compbatant's OK and input.

Yeah, and if he puts the OK we can officially have GMs support live there. *We can setup the server on the way he like. We can advertise it more and even make it a partnership-game server with Discord which can be promoted server which can bring new player to the game itself!

Otherwise, we will go with an unofficial one. With the staff being normal players of the game who can moderate it ( i personally will create one server, being the head administrator of it )
With less players in the server since there won't be any official announcement of a FT Discord Server opening.



Edit: *I say we, as it was someone like me (regular player experienced with the game And experienced Discord Dev/Manager. ) who setups the server. Since Comps might not have the Time and Knowledge to setup a server himself, we, could help him out.
Idk, maybe some kind of Apply Requests Forum topic for Discord Staff?

Oh well, i just don't see any reason to not make a Discord Server for the good of the game. And I'd love to help with it using my discord knowledge.
Tons of games have a Discord server for their games (alot use it instead of Forums), even mobile-only games.
And since it's free?...

Although i know Comps already thinking about a Discord Server. So let's be patient on his desicion and feed him with more ideas and answered FAQs about it on this topic.

With the correct setup of the server. You can actually encourage players to USE forum.

Discord is more like

LIVE Chat & VoiceChat

Will be great to have instant and live chat between any topic of the game:

Trades, clans, GMs help etc.

And on forum there will be more information on things and bugs reports.


Yes, we can use Discord as a better and more live forum if we setup it like a forum. But why would it be a problem? Since Discord is very easy accessible on all platforms with no lag/bug and Free to download.
Players will either choose Forum or Discord.

Anyone can use it, though! It's available in most countries to download onto phones or computers.
