I got the ghost pets.

Nice. Go slow with them and learn.

Enable D-Pad and "touch to move".

Use D-Pad to place pets with precision.

Try this
- log off and on in an open space.
- - notice they are to your left = always - if there is enough space.
- tap the "Left" button once. The pets moves left 1 space.
- tap between ← & ↓ and the other pet will move diagonally SW 1 pace

Play with it, practice and pets will last longer.

WARNING:
- There are people that enjoy dragging monsters to your pets to kill them
- be aware of your surroundings and
- grow a 3rd eye and have it on the mini-map all the times
- protect your pets at the cost of dying yourself - they cost $$
- - but you respawn at 0.0 with them.

I second LK's comments above! Great writeup and Pet Hints. In fact, should be a separate post made into a sticky!
The only thing I'll add is the following.

-Learn to use the chat command "-wait" without quotes. It's a fast wait to get both of your pets to wait at their location without trying to click on each one, which is cumbersome. Typing "-wait" a second time causes them to no longer wait but to follow. This is invaluable when you have found that "special" spawn point you are investing time in.
