I am that .01% case.
I wont go into details, but...
I shared an ip with someone that did something.
My ip is owned by a company in Tampa (I live in Indiana)
And my "last three threes" change randomly.
Just so happened the 'obscene' user and I had matching ips (as did a few other users)..
I seen the logs, entered my "Alford Plea" (although innocent, agree that the evidence is enough to convict you) and worked with comp and mods to a suitable punishment.
Though I do consider Cleo a friend, there was absolutely no "special treatment". And if Comp ever comes at you, he comes FIERCE AND FAIR!

ayzuse, I get what you're saying, but there were no open questions here (meaning unanswered, not meaning public BTW

) that was a rhetorical statement (or possibly even a way of making sure he didn't shoot down a real question.... but either way it was not a means of trying to pull a real question in to private chat)
And you're right, you don't know the facts here so please don't cast judgement on the player or on the staff team, thank you

My statement was not towards the problem at hand. Mainly how there are a lot of threats "BAN ALL ALTS/BAN IP ADDRESS" for them admin team over the past few months. That is no way to get people to play the game.
I have heard the word BAN so many times lately I'm starting to think it's all admins know at this point.

When I first started playing someone traded/sold/stolen there was nothing admins could do. "Because giving your pw is wrong. And if someone did then that was there punishment. Now there's way to many "well he said she said" and now it's alright to jump in and say well we'll. BAN your alts if you keep talking openly.
Like I said nothing to do with this one case. But all the cases over half a year. Admins/mods are wasting time with accounts and not enough. Time with in-game problems.
And it's starting to show

fair enough, I wish we could spend less time with this and more time in game also (though to some degree that is simply one of the differences between mod work and admin work) however (in general) if we have a player breaking rules and ruining the game for many other players, then we must act, wouldn't you agree? and if this hypothetical player continues after warnings and punishments, it should lead to more severe punishments - eventually leading to losing accounts, right?
@ upgrade - well said

I do not agree with loosing accounts with bought lvls. maybe there should be a different punishment. Because if someone buys lvls they are supporting. The game. And banning all the alts after they spent money one them.
I would suggest take the non bought lvls away. Not make them loose out on money. Say in my case that's about $1500+ I'd be loosing out on.
That's not fair. In my books

so your suggestion ends up leading to saying that players who buy levels can do anything they want? With respect, I guess we will have to agree to disagree here

I feel your pain here and I'm sure a lot feel same way. However, for future reference you should consider a game mod and a game admin jobsas they very close but far in between. A game mod is an enforcement over the rules, and playing fair. Kind of like our police officers they up keep the laws set down from law makers. A game admin is more like a chief of police they ensure their officers are held responsible for their job. Also look for ways to make improvements in their force. Bring this to game terms admin watch the game mods on top of trying to make new improvements. Now if you understand so far you'll see how an admin job can become stacked up real fast and affects on improvement quality. I do say with everything in FT going on they are keeping up pretty well with recent updates and working out all the bugs.

Absolutely agree with blitzcraig, lvlbuyers pay for lvl. NOT for breaking rules. Rules are the same for every player.

I'm not saying they can Do anything they want. Without consequences.
But how would you feel if your lvl 1500 was BAN from game. Im just simply saying that. If there were threats to BAN my accounts. I wouldn't just sit back and say okay. And neither would you or any player for that matter.
