Like i said for people who have time. Fishing is not supposed to be used for gaining money. It was most likly not made for someone to fish all day and make a bunch of money.

My suggestion find a mob that drops good enough gear and grind them if you want money.

Well when fishes got implemented creator made a topic for ideas about using fishes
So I guess it was made to have a function in game than just time waste

Right it was made to catch fish for ogers. Not to collect gold.
