welll Jive is ondr Doom. Dr Doom needs to rant and swear. thats called roleplaying. if its now toned down to c**p etc, thats a big consession. you cabt have a flower in hair hippie doom. its just not right.
i love Dr Dooms rants. real Doom (sry Jive) got me confused often by being friendly one sec. killing me the next or threathning mre even in pm.
took me a while to realize how good a ROLEPLAYER he was.

but threatning real life violance should not be accepted.i agree to that.

MATTER OF FACT WHY DONT WE JUST MAKE A LINK TO SHOW EVERY CLANS MEMBERS, HOW LONG THEY BEEN IN CLAN, HOW MUCH THEY HAVE DONATED TO CLAN ALONG WITH THERE BUILDING SKILLS?... WITH A FULL CLAN PAGE LAYOUT LIKE THAT THEN THE RANK ON SOMEONES NAME WOULD BE OK... MAYBE ILL JUST START KILLN ONLY LORDS... OR ONLY MARSHAL... HEY HEY HEY... MARSHAL MONDAYS AND LORD FRIDAYS... ALL THESE IDEAS I DUNNO WHAT TO DO...

Yeah jive instead this ranks, i would like more one list showing money players gave to clan or how much time they are at clan(sure only clan playera could see this informacion

I dont understand, why clan rank must be private? Give me at least one example where it can be bad?

Been thinking about this one (and I'm not in a clan!). My lists are short as I am still wondering about the rationale behind this decision.

Positives
* Clan negotiations - I want to speak to the organ grinder not the monkey (is this just a UK turn of phrase?)
* pure interest value for neutral players (oh - player X is a Lord of that clan)

Negatives
* invasion of clan privacy
* makes clan member a target (prestige value of killing a Lord over a Marshall, for example)

With specific reference to that 4th point above, are there any plans on the horizon to develop a clan prestige system? Otherwise, this clan rank display decision is a puzzling one to say the least.

well said Leone - I'm hoping that rank will matter in a clan prestige system at some point.. either way, small positives outweigh small negatives imo

i cant do everything as duke. lords are vry limited since they can sell our buildings.
raw, ftbc, link and other clans got all their buildings sold because of a traitor lord. so now there are no or vry few lords in clans who are there for the long run.
so some members are doing certain negotiations. now its known that they are not lords and some wont accept their word. In negotiations with long time players this is not a problem they know that these marshalls are trusted. but for new players....

on the clan information topic.
before kollex became mod he already talked about making this on the web. things like members and contributed gold etc. never heard of it again. would love it though. id like rank. lvl. gold contributed. outlaw status, mute status, lol maybe even kill statistics.
