I mean that its funny and interesting to suggest your ideas, to read opinions of others, to complain, and finally - to say "Yay! People liked my formulas! It will be added to game soon, i helped the game!" :)

Comps posted in the announcements section under our 6 page topic so far. Read that before we comment further on anything.

We need a thread merger or a moving of the main threads mostly on the same topic to a new subforum.

Because at somepoint this will happen again.

please do not start arguing again.
we should all assume the best for the other parts. otherwise, we argue and lose time. time is limited for staff and that means, even more delays and frustrations. its a vicious circle.
thx for your cooperation.

There was no intent to start arguing again. I tried to stem it a bit by posting in the various other linked threads that comps replied. There will be a lot of speculation. Pessimism. Optimism etc.

Help us stop the viscious circle by opening yet another subforum to outline whats going on, what possible updates may occur. What the staff are talking on to do with the game etc.

Things that need to remain behind closed door should. Such as problem players. Ruling on certain punishments etc.

But a sub forum like this would show us progress and help alleviate future issues a bit. A lot of places do this so they dont give the illusion that their doing nothing. Even though their doing a lot at the time.

I would liken this not to a mainstream mmo like wow or ultima etc that doesnt need this type of subforum. But more to games that have dedicated servers. Like dayz, or (oldschool) neverwinter nights etc. Player bases didnt flip out nearly as bad because they could see partial progress in things.

my comment was not pointed at you ;)

the reason, why we did not release an interview about "what is coming next" is the complexity of the changes. if we would have release such an incomplete interview, there would be a lot misunderstanding and a similar situation as we now have, imo.

Which is why a disclaimer of it being incomplete and nothing being set in stone would help that. That would avoid a lot of issues to begin with.

What cant be avoided or faulted is people thinking nothing is happening because they cant see whats happening. Or what to expect. Some of us may understand the complex nature of whatever it is that couldve been released. Some of us might not have.

But questions wouldve been asked. A subforum like that can help prevent a player base from boiling over like it has now.

Damage control takes a lot more time and effort than a long Q&A session to clarify that somethings only an idea.
