Well, it was a Trial and Tribulation of LostKnight believe you me!

I would have Google by the throat if it had one. Ever notice that these BIG companies have no way to contact them? When was the last time you talked to someone other than a hired monkey that thinks, "Oh that's Question 18", opening "The Q/A Book", flip flip flip; Q: 18 - Answer with: "blah blah ..." GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Two tablets ... no WiFi. Factory Reset both - twice. GRRRRR" still no WiFi. But the old one, that doesn't have enough memory to run FT, had WiFi, my wife's tablet, had WiFi ...

And then I saw an obscure little post in the nether regions of the internet:

"Try unplugging the router forcing "IT" to reset."

Well why not....

Two minutes later: BANG, the tablets have WiFi - the factory resets were probably not required.

Now why was this with just MY two tablets and not the old one or my wife's tablet??????
Well, there is a planet in the Alpha Centauri system where a guy lives in a little dirt hut that knows the answer. And he's not talking!!!!!!!

So ... WiFi is working on a now wiped pair of tablets....

Let's set them up, I think.

Now every one of those freaking "verification code" emails came with a 6-digit code. When I tried the first three they flashed a RED WARNING: WRONG NUMBER OF DIGITS USED!

Finally the last two worked ... really late last night!

Welcome back! Me and Gull were going to go beat up some baddies, but they told us that they wanted to beat on LK instead and to come back later. Diplomatic solution I guess!

Google can sure be a pain.. Resetting the 2 tablets was likely not necessary (made me laugh a little)
At least next time you know that the wifi router is likely the problem, and will *hopefully* not have to deal with the google issues again in the near future

AMEN to that ... might just unplug it every night and plug it in again in the morning!

Next week I will probably laugh at it as well.
For now it is enough that I have calmed down to a "grrrr!"
