However, let's not highjack this thread... this isn't my thread haha
This is in "Off Topic" how can you highjack an Off Topic thread? It's as much yours as mine because you are here posting.

I like what this thread has become ... a place where I can put 'my chronicles' of the game and have have some general chitchat with anyone and everyone that cares to make comments.

OK, game time!

Quite a strange day today. After that last post I went to FT World, bought two pets. I keep loosing them, and filled them up with basic equipment for everyone, mages & fairies, knights & Amazons(?), ogres, archers plus a whole bunch of +50HP bottles and walked the first few map coords a new user would be in, doing my best to give things away. IT WAS HARD in a lot of cases. Some would accept the first item offered and walk away.

But the occasional "OH! Thank you!" made it worth while. I gave stuff to people I couldn't even speak to but the " :) " was loud and clear! And there were a few that wanted to sell me a lvl 0 sword for 150 gold I told them to ask for 150000 - two walked away, well I can't force it on them. But one guy in particular with his "OMG! Thank you! I'm new here just today" got a little extra help. I remember being him on day one. He tried to friend me but couldn't because "I'm full". His final remark before parting for other things was, "If I can ever do anything for you, let me know!", made my day!

All in all it took me almost the whole day to give this stuff away and buy some 'tin swords' for Rolls Royce prices :D Hey, some of you guys did the same to/for me, so consider this part of my pay back!

Tonight I level up a bit.

Well, you were one of the generous ones yourself.

Levelling up tuned into tanking at Silverwood plains, There I was tanking and I get attacked by a clan member and called a "noob", well he was right there. He also attached other players, some people and their ogres. One guy was only at lvl 13 and doing quite well too. :(

I couldn't fight back said something about turned off level too low? :(

There's a bug where some clan members can attack people who are not in a clan even when their level is outside the +3/-3 range from that of their opponent.

Abusing that bug will result in punishment, so please report people who do this

OK, will have to research the Reporting process. Didn't use the persons 'data' here because I didn't know if it was allowed or not and wanted to check. I do have the persons data as seen on screen if you want it, via PM - just so you know at this point.

Maybe they are reading this thread - attacked and killed tonight by an ogre looking to make his bones as the [D] of a clan was watching an cheering him on! He was lvl 63 - now 63 I think so within range. Now I carry anti-freeze potion.

EDIT - went back:
unfreeze doesn't work, he just freeze me again, they swarmed my pet and are attacking me again. This clan thinks I'm someone else.
Think I'll take a break for a day or so ... this isn't fun anymore.

Unfortunately, the unfreeze potions only have an instant effect. If a player happens to be carrying several knives, axes or fish (in the case of your friend here, the ogre) then they will keep throwing them at you.

It means that you have may have to consider carrying several unfreeze potions with you to counteract this. Sometimes a pvp encounter can be won by the player who happens to have stocked up the most.

I wonder if the unfreeze potion should have a lasting effect, in a similar way to the different skills characters have. Just a thought.

Yeah, Leone is right.
Stun items (like knives or fish) are one time use, instant effect... and so are unfreeze potions.
PvP can easily become a battle of attacker spamming stuns, while defender spams unfreeze...
And as Leone pointed out, whoever packs more could potentially win.

No, I've never been fond of the PvP system in this game...
Back in the day, I just found it best to make some friends (of a similar level), and always try to grind with them.
Yup... MadMikael (the original, now known as MadMartigan), used to grind with crusades, Elia, and SerjTankian regularly...
Oh my... the conversations we had back then, in the game and on the forum...
I think Serj may still be around (I see his alts from time to time)... but the other 2, pretty sure they no longer play.

After that, crusades and I made archers together, and joined a clan for a bit... that was fun.
Roll with your clan mates, and you have some protection.

Anyway, my point is, try and not go solo so much if you're getting attacked too much.
If I happen to pop into the game on one of my alts and find you, sure, I'll hang out a bit.
I'm limited in what I can do in PvP, but, there is some flexibility in the staff rules, so I can help a little bit ;)
