:P Good day! These people once fled from a forgotten kingdom. In the past, their king wished for power. Having received it, he challenged the gods. The gods did not like this, and brought their wrath upon the entire kingdom. And its inhabitants. The kingdom was destroyed, many who were at that celebration died. But not all. Those who managed to escape or hide, the survivors, according to the covenant of the gods, were expelled and persecuted. The survivors had no rest. They worked, but the gods were unyielding. On the surface, there was no place for them, their bodies and souls were damaged by the burden. And the horde of the living dead wandered the world without rest. One day, in the middle of darkness, dawn broke in their heads. They heard a voice, it invited them underground. There, underground, they found their peace. Their souls and bodies became the same. And so a handful of survivors, far from the others, eventually founded their new kingdom, unknown to anyone. Their new cities were located far underground and in deep caves. Where no one is destined to find them. The New Deity keeps them.
Even the chosen ones are not destined to reach them!

A small, isolated town called Balam, located in the eastern mountainous region of the New Continent, has recently become a haven for adventurers. They are drawn by a legend whispered from one curious soul to another "the legend of Liveseyd, the City of Miracles."

Far above the eastern cloudy peaks, Liveseyd was once among the greatest cities of the ancient world - a beacon of riches, glory, and unmatched innovation! But such brilliance did not last. The city fell into ruin, cursed and bound by the sins of its past. It is said that its people worshipped an unknown, enigmatic entity… and paid a terrible price.

Now, it is up to you, adventurer.
Explore the town of Balam, uncover the long-forgotten clues about the fallen city, and seek a path toward its lost treasures. But beware the truth behind Liveseyd may be far more dangerous than the promise of gold.

hello everyone, this is SwordBlade, first time making a map and I would like to hear your opinions as i am inexperienced, I am not that good at making such good and detailed maps but I am confident about the Lore/ Story I will bring, planning to make atleast 4-7 maps with chain quest and sidequests that is started from our little town called Balam, since the game is lacking new content so I would like to voluntarily help with my passion towards making a story. (and might have to alter the story a bit here and there as i go on, to make it fit in the world of FT)

I have few questions:
1. Where is entrance? (Mean at your map. Where ppl will start.)
2. What monsters may be there?
3. Is it grind map, quests map or both?

Btw, as a begginer map look good. Hope you will realize you idea its sound good.

It looks to be a decent map with an interesting storyline overview. You need to start thinking about specific detail. Is it a standalone questline or does it fit in with existing quests? What level range are you aiming at? Can new players do the early parts at least to maintain interest?

I disagree with your statement about a recent lack of new content. There have been several new maps and new events introduced recently, and if you read the GM news posts you will see more is to follow.

To answer Filips question the entrance will be located from the left side of the village, it is another map and through ship, will be making a decently sized town with corresponding quests on it, as for mobs on the town and village I haven't really decided yet but im leaning into it rogue adventures , bandits, spiders so it fits the lore i put into, and regarding the ruined city it depends on what i can do and what comp can give me but im leaning into the spectre mobs, ofcourse its for the lore.. as being grind oriented or quest map, the ruined city will be quest focused map with strong mobs, as for the town its grind with quests... anyways thanks for the support Filip!

For Leone tho, I've decided the village and ruined city would be a standalone chain-progression questline with side quests interconnected to the main progressive quest, as for the level range on the ruined city I'm quite conflicted about this and I would appreciate a suggestion for this, for the new players, the town will be suitable for them as im planning it to be for low level players, I will include dialogue that provides clues on how to activate the ruined city quest so that once they reach the appropriate level, they can begin that questline:)

I create just for fun when I'm bored. ;)

Maybe my maps will inspire someone to create one.
