I think the first paragraph
here is what caused the personal attacks. While not naming names at that time, it exposed their game illegal activities. And I didn't even know it was illegal at that time. Also Silver City = Silverwood.
And MadMikael's response with "the (in real life)" part in the next post was enlightening and a huge part in my decision not to continue.
I have decided that:
- [pew]ergo82(xx)[L], who attacked me first at Silverwood plains, taking advantage of a game bug, not a clue why! and
- [KWNG]dagger1992(xxx)[D] (or maybe DAGGER1992, can't remember at the moment, I wrote in caps at the time I saw it) using his minion:
- el chapoo; to bypass the PvP -3/+3 block, to kill me
have won this battle. dagger1992 and el chapoo because I mentioned their using pets to vacuum up the red mummies, and intimidating another player, I think threatening to kill a guy at lvl(31) that I was tanking for, falls under intimidation. Yea yea, I know, I didn't mention that before. And at the time I didn't even know it was not allowed, the spawning part but something went click and re-recalled reading what MadMikasl's post regarding spawning said so I went looking for it again.
A thank you to Arashiko for reminding me of my duties as a GM. I should have caught this right away. Sorry, been off for a while, and I'm rusty.
This whole thing is kind of disturbing. I'd like to refer to the game rules
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2560
Specifically: Rules 9 and 9b) (rules designed for this sort of situation).
Repeatedly hunting you could fall under this rule. This was where I should have stepped in and done something - apologies.
Now if you're correct, and they're reading here, they should know:
if they keep this up, they could easily be punished; I would guess, they'd spend some time in one of our not-too-fancy-or-spacious jail cells for a while...
Anyway, whether you stay or go, these guys are on the radar now, so they may not find their futures so bright....
All I can say is, to anyone out there... if you see someone breaking the rules, it's usually best if you contact a GM privately then post it publicly... or, something could happen to you like LostKnight here suspects... they're targeting him for it. Not sure if that's what's happening, but it's a definite possibility.
Also, LostKnight, under these rules, there are some special clauses... we may be able to fix this yet. That is, if you're willing to stay.
But the way it should have gone is this:
You voice your concern, and the GM steps in immediately in such a case (again, I'm sorry, I missed it).
They would have at least been warned, and punished if repeated.
