death911, I probably felt that way too, before I saw it in action - it's the "good guy" way of looking at it, and seems just and fair in theory... the problem is that it doesn't work in practice - let me share a quick example (may not change your mind of course, we're all welcome to our own opinions, but hopefully it'll help everybody see a somewhat bigger view of the issue)

player BOB finds a way to abuse a bug in the game. He shares this info with his friends and clan. They cheat for 1 day and completely destroy an enemy clan. During the investigation (let's say another 2 weeks) they literally destroy every clan on every map. Now 16 members of the clan are found to be guilty of cheating, while 4 members are found to be innocent. The guilty ones are punished, and the innocent are not. of course, in the meantime, we've got hundreds of players killed by cheaters who all lost xp and dropped items.... tens of thousands of hours are lost because clan buildings were destroyed by cheaters, and items along with the buildings of course. Additionally, new clans have built on the same spot that the old clans were on.... THIS CANNOT BE FIXED. It is literally impossible - The alternative is to immediately jail the accounts that GMs are pretty sure to be cheating... now there is a big mess to clean up still (the original 1 destroyed clan) but it can be done. in the process, yes, a few innocent characters couldn't play those accounts during the investigation, and yes, that sucks, but there's simply no comparison about which is worse

Anyway, be on the GM team during one instance of something like that and I guarantee you'll have a broader view of it, and a new respect for what they do... and I'd wager a stricter stance against cheaters too

I don't know how a GM works. Yes any BUG abuse needs be stopped as early as possible. i don't know anything about any software programs. But may be any way to fix the bug first and stop the abuse at the earliest?

depends on the bug - you've brought up a great point... if it can be fixed right away, then there's maybe no need to jail "suspects" - but usually it takes time to fix the bug, and even longer to fix the accounts that abused the bug - really just depends

So i guess maybe it's not always possible to go in the perfect way without avoiding some casualties..(innocent players getting jailed) . In such cases they better get adequate compensation as the player deserves depending upon time of unfair jailing....Still the question remains who is to decide what should be the appropriate compensation?

One time my house was down due to a glitch for a couple of weeks. My pets were in there so i wasn't able to grind with my pets for two weeks. I messaged an admin and they compensated me with some levels. So i would suggest that any player jailed and then released message an admin and explain the situation.

Well you succeed 'clearing' up a few point here. Not being a clan member of course you just put a whole spotlight on something I didn't have a clue about.

I'd say my support of/for and respect for the GM Team is now solidly "welded" in place.

it's one of the things I love about these types of discussions on the forum - I can share what I've experienced to help others see a side they may not have thought of, and at the same time I read everybody else and I see things that I may not have thought of - good for everybody usually

and about compensation, I think that's best determined on a case by case basis between the player and the GM team imo

What they do is no Sunday picnic, and get blasted with a lot more "negativity" than they do accolades or KUDOS!

As I heard there will no special skins in game.
Guys ur making new strict rules.u should not think about strict rules..think about comfort of client..or rating of this game will get down and down.lets say e.g:my friend ISARI jailed and left game..I m getting bored too. When I was playing ft whole days I m playing 1hrs in a day now

That,s what I try to explaine here...a player like a Korea who made for first time a mistake get prem jail and the other one who many times publicated his accounts as a cheater (Jaya Tci) still playing here. ( check the forum how many accounts that Jony was played cheated players). He always cheating with his low lvls accounts. Then it dosen,t matter for him if he lost that low lvls accounts.
