LostKnight wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 4:05 pm Been a LONG time since I have written "game stuff here" and people may or may not have noticed inactivity on my part of late. Or at least not as active as I use to be.

I still play, most times alts as I'm on/off in a blink is need be and if I happen to miss logging off and get caught by the "Are you here!" check so be it, I'll wear it. FAMILY FIRST

My second oldest son wrote just over a week ago with some bad news, he has stage 3/4 lung cancer.

Last Thursday was his first chemo session ... I waited a bit to write as I know, from experience, it is draining.

He told me my grandchildren brought home a cold. So he has Double Jeopardy going on! Fighting a cold and dealing with the chemo. At least it's with the first treatment when he's at his strongest.

Today was the day I wrote and got this back almost instantly, with more than what is here, but this line is so HIM:

“I’m still here and fighting the good fight”

AND to top that off my mother-in-law went into the hospital at 06:00 today to have her second hip replaced.
- operation over - a success - now some recovery time.

Talk about a pressure relief valve letting off excess steam ...
Wow... And to think, I was just here at work complaining about a toothache. Always helps to remember that things could be worse.
Best wishes and prayers for you and your family, LK.

Best wishes and prayers for you and your family, LK.
Thank you kindly. Very much appreciated.

As far as hip replacement is going things have changed a LOT!
MIL was awake for the whole, just gave her a massive "local". So the thing is she is already eating lunch. Go figure.

Hey toothaches can be bad too.
I have what comes close to a phobia of dentists. Probably because I fell as a very young kid and broke my two front teeth off. They were unattached but still with me ... sticking through my upper lip! Still have a "white line" scar from that.

So I usually wait until the "pain" is greater then the "fear" of dentists before going.
