If you want to make the game better fix bug instead of creating problems. I have played for two plus years and it started out GM built new bridge at spawn, then three bridges. Then a private island. Now a fake shop? Hats not an update or addition just graphics. The fact is GM should have a so called boss. This never was a bug, and it's gotten quite off topic.
I've moved it here to Off-Topic, where the rules are more lax and opinions are more welcomed.

I do agree with your comment - you don't understand.

What function does it serve? To entertain, to provide something new, to invoke curiosity and exploration. Also, to test for upcoming things - to see what works, what doesn't, and what players will do when they see it. It is quite common for any business - not just games - to test their market to see what their consumers want. Since most players do not get on the forum or facebook to contribute ideas, this sort of testing can provide answers we'd otherwise not get.

I'm confused about your statements - you admit that you know I can't code... but you tell me (or GM) to fix bugs? Maybe I missed something...

As for the additions on start map - just because you can't grasp the purpose, doesn't mean there isn't one. You jump to conclusions based on a narrow point of view, and limited information. If you were to pose polite questions, you'd likely get answers to nearly everything you wish. Secrets excluded. Just keep in mind, if you have lots of questions, or ones that require lengthy answers, in game is usually never the best place to ask.

The GM should have a so called boss - wow, nice statement. As detailed in the Staff Rules, we do. Check it out sometime. It's found in General Information - very close to the game and forum rules, which you may wish to read as well.
Some where you forgot you only job is to ensure game is playing and people are obeying rules.
Ah, you know my job I take it, and the extent of it. Funny how so many players think they know what my job is. When they haven't a clue.
I have said many times "A GMs job is to supervise the game and enforce the rules"... yes. But that is only our main function, not an absolute limitation to what we do. We do many other things as we wish to get involved... including helping players, testing, and entertaining if we wish... and that's still not the full limit.
I can list six bugs that are critical and costing you money. Why don't you make yourself useful and figure them out. If not I will share when back from holidays.
First - I'm not paid, so I'm not losing money.
But your statement here worries me.
6 critical bugs - yet... you've not reported them, and you will eventually...
Included with a mild personal insult of "why don't you make yourself useful"... well, I'll let another GM react to that one, as I'm involved directly here.
I would simply retort the same to you - why don't you make yourself useful, and report them? Or learn to code and fix them yourself?
I think, your words here demonstrate what kind of person you could be. Also, I think there may be reason to look into your accounts - and see what bugs you're abusing. But that's up to another GM if they're interested.

I keep approving your posts, as I want to hear your opinions, and have them seen by all.
You will prove my points, time and again.
I have patience.

Ok you approve my post let's read them.

One I said I know you don't get paid.

Two I report all bugs when I have time as said when return from holiday. This is not my job nor responsibility to fix this game.

Three this seems more like you need to prove you have power more then anything.

Four go ahead watch me I play most days and I do not need to cheat to win. Unlike you I do have a master's in computer science and understand how the game operates.

Five : you say you keep appoving so you can hear my opinion seems more like you want to just fight.instead of closing after problem solved you moved to keep fighting.

So what would you like to pointless argue about now?

Good so you feel like you win?

Thank God. Funny how you only problem was a mass spawn and it turned out to you trolling me. I bet you made the skeleton spawns. Probably why you took it so personnel and if my post looks funny I'm on a phone in a different country arguing with you over what I do not know. I do know you never did address my issue or help but DaHobbit did in one minute. I thought was bug was just someone doing what they want. I do apologise I mistaken your addition to game as bug. I am sorry you don't understand a pet may only kill one monster at a time so when 25 skeleton and one mage spawn my pets can not keep up. I am truly sorry you felt the need to only attack instead of listen. You are truly a sad human being with poor people skills.

Again, you simply confirm your lack of understanding on the issues at hand, and lash out.
You may refer to me as "trolling", but I see it differently. I was, pressing you for information.
Your many posts here are full of inaccuracies and assumptions.
But I'll state the usual - if you have issue with any GM, you're encouraged to contact an admin by forum PM with the details. Admins have green names on the forum.

As for your pet, you got really lucky on that one.
You never would have gotten it back had DaHobbit not been so hasty.
He felt obligated to do the right thing. I don't fault him for it.
Yes, there was a GM involved in your losing of the pet. But there's more to it than even you admit publicly.

This whole thing of spawning has many sides to it.
I have not voiced all reasons publicly, nor will I.

It's going to continue, whether you like it or not.
It will be modified in some ways, based on results of the last tests.
But it will still continue.

The sad part is you think this is about a pet. So I just killed the pet dahobbit gave me bought a new one.

The problem is simple my map is wide open and when mobs of 40 lvl 1 come at you. You may miss a mage inside. I am on a phone.

Second when try mining or phell and you get coin coin coin sword coin stone. It is annoying. Building is already hard and boring.

You do make some valid points - they have been raised already, before your original post was made.
I'm looking into how those things can be addressed for the next round.

As for the pet thing - it's tricky.
I was somewhat arguing with you, yes. But there were other things to be considered, and so I had a tricky point here.
I'd rather not say anything more publicly on this issue.
You were granted your pet, and it was not going to be taken away again.

As for how you spend your money, that's your choice.
If, you feel like this was the right thing to do, then of course, I applaud you for it.
You should always do what you feel is right in your heart.

Oh, and a thank you.
The end result in this was great.
We talked about some heated topics, and the end result is, I think we understand each other a little better.
I don't actually think any punishments are warranted here - just to be clear to anyone else reading.
I think, we've reached at least a small understanding here, and that gives me hope for the future to come.
I look forward to seeing you around ;)
