Hmmm. Real money makes it real? Ok. Buy a car. Drive foolishly. You just lost all that money when you wrecked, or got pulled over by the police.
Will you be PJ'ed? Will you be permanently restricted to drive?

this analogy is straying pretty far away here, but I'll play along lol -
You may still get to drive (play) going forward, though you will no longer have access to that particular vehicle (account)

I'll go forth too.
You will not be permanently deprived of this particular vehicle (account) by some third party (GM).
And pls note, it
wasn't me to start IRL examples.

There are plenty of scenarios where a third party (typically the government) can seize property, but the analogy has really been stretched.
FT is an independent game with its own rules and punishments. They could really implement close to whatever rules they wanted to, or drastically change the type of game for that matter.

And there's no internal combustion inside of FT, and you can't drive the car over wifi; FT doesn't come with leather seats, and you can't cast a magical spell called "green flow" inside the car; it's not illegal to drink alcohol while playing FT and the car certainly weighs more than my smartphone... are we done now?
Cheaters are getting punished now. good.

You do typically have access to better music in a car though...

Jajaja great point... see? We shouldn't punish cheaters because this analogy isn't perfect

Tbh, I was only using the analogy in response to the logic processes I observed in this topic. And btw, yes. Irl, police can and will confiscate your auto if you break a severe enough driving law.
At any rate, I'll stop the analogy with this:
The title of this thread doomed it to failure.

Yea, like that's going to happen
We need a new rule to punish people that make bad analogies.
Punishment: Go to the cave wall and with carbon write 1000 times.
- people found using copy and paste to reproduce the text will be severely punished by permanent jail.
- people found using 3rd party apps to reproduce the text will be severely punished by permanent jail.
- people found cheating in "anyway" to reproduce the text will be severely punished by permanent jail.
