Since I am unable to update yet, anubis looks the same as always to me.
A shame he didn't want to play fetch with me when I saw him, but theres always another day. I have played more than many I guess.

Anubis tends to pop up in popular areas... the zombie (robes) dungeon and the archer field are my reccomendations to look in.
