Sharing account is not forbidden. Who every told you it was is wrong.

I have been told by mods/admins there is nothing they can do about it.

And i have been told the same about selling accounts.

Not surewho told you that but the rule regarding accounts is "
Buying, selling, trading or sharing accounts is not permitted. Under certain circumstances, these actions are punishable. You will likely lose the involved account(s), and possibly all your accounts if theft was involved with any of them. So if you buy a character, which has been stolen before, you have a problem!" From the rules in General topic. So in asense yes it's not forbidden but not permitted for players to conduct these actions.

It IS forbidden, but not always punishable

Half ft comunity shares alts we just dont know all shares, if punish accs it would be crazy

Also if u take lvls from that accs u will need pay money back for sure, or if u jail it that owner migh quit game again not good for game

we're actually discussing this issue right now... as it currently stands, it is a violation of game rules, but not punished as a primary offense (meaning that if nothing goes wrong, we will not get involved, but when something does go wrong, we may punish for whatever happened, plus the sharing) ... Obviously this is not ideal.... of course, when players actually role play at all they would never share an account anyway so this should be a non-issue, but I digress...

on a different note, selling accounts is clearly a rule violation as well, and that is not likely to change. However, I'm not aware of punishments which have arisen from it except for doing it in "official" FT arenas (meaning if you talk about it in game or on forum you may be muted and /or temporarily banned/kicked)

again, not punished as a primary offense... doesn't mean it's not punishable... similar to how seat belt laws were in the USA when they were first enacted... a police officer would not pull you over for failing to wear your seat belt, but if you got pulled over for something else (say, speeding for example) then you may have gotten issued citations both for speeding and not wearing your seat belt

AAAAAAand thats another reason why not to spend money on games... IMO I can´t afford it but even if I could, I wouldn´t. Me, with such little money every month, spare moeny with the homeless. So I guess my karma is on heavens of it´s highness

As much as that didnt make sense. Lets not get into the topic of karma and heaven. Because thatl be a messy debate, and im pretty sure were not meant to discuss religion as it is.
