Could you buy a cow for a house as it is stationary in the game? I don't want one, but will offer up the dumb idea for someone else!

so why not a Milk House?

This is probably a stetch, but what about the walls of Black Knight Fortress? You only go in the house in the middle and don't interact with the walls themselves because they don't have any gate/door.

I'd joke about you living under a rock (lovely and very distinguished crags on the southern facing side, so your upkeep on the place has not gone unnoticed), but you hear about things more quickly than me, so nevermind!
Still, I would love to invite you in to my city folk house to sit down next to the fireplace, but have so far only managed to find a way to get my pets inside...
