Nothing changed. Animated object are not available as private houses.

Note also that the top area of start map is often edited for daily events.
It is suggested not to ask for houses at start map if they are above y=60
Type /pos to know where you are. The game will tell you the (x,y) coords. If you are at start map, and the y is greater than 60, please choose another element

That would be sad if that hut was sold. I can see some guy crafting while his pets kill all the wolves that the level(0) players are trying to get to get level(1)
It is sad enough to see the number of pets that are parked in that area now while the owners "fish", like they are going to level killing wolves. RIIIIIGHT!
IMHO Pets should be BANNED north of the path and south of the river.
