Re: Map Editor instructions [updated editor 21.03.2015]
i guess i know what u mean.
there is an editor and it is probably the start.bat u mean
but everytime i click on it i get this
Starting Editor...
java.io.FileNotFoundException: settings.properties (Zugriff verweigert)
java.lang.NullPointerException
i know its probably because something with java is wrong
i went to an internet site of java to check if everything is correct installed
there was that i have a version of java that can be updated
even tho i know it is not the issue i tried to install the latest java
but therefor i had to delet the old java and that was not possible
error was something like u cant delete this folder because something in this folder works with another programm of ur computer.
i tried it now 2 hours again and nothing works
i googled every issue but ... nothing helps
i still would like to help like i said inn my first post with testing new content
or testing how to balance new or exsisting skills or class balance

what OS do you have?
what did you exactly to start the editor?
what java is installed?
sprichst du deutsch? weil dein post "zugriff verweigert" enthaelt. kannst auch deutsch fragen, ggf. einfach als PM.

Sry what du mean by OS (ik I have almost no IT knowledge)
If u mean what I did to start : I installed java (latest version) thrn downloaded the editor and put it in a folder in my programs file.
Ja ich bin deutsch ( sieht man auch an der location
) aber ich denke ich habe mit English keine probleme

OS means "operating system" (Windows (xp,7,8...) Linux, Mac OS, etc)
also, did you move it to program file after download?

OK, my recommendation is to try to move it back to where it first downloaded to.. or even delete it and start from scratch - I've downloaded it a bunch of times (every update) and noticed it's pretty touchy about being moved - - one other thing is that you'll need to copy /paste javaw into that folder.. have you done that?
