Just a thought, but are programming skills absolutely necessary to be part of the GM team? I would have thought each GM has their own set of skills and not all have to be programmers.

You're exactly correct, Leone. Programing skills are not needed to be a GM. TBH, I don't know witch well enough to say anything about how well suited for the position you may be, but I can say you don't need to worry about the programming skill issue

You're right, blitz. There are only 4 things NECESSARY to be a GM.
1: Honesty. Period.
2: Impartiality. When you're a GM, the rules are more important than friendships.
3: The ability to keep calm when you REALLY wanna "respond" to the troll/crybaby/beggar/etc.
4: Read and write in English
Any other skills, such as coding, speaking other languages, multitasking, etc are not "required", but are definitely a plus for anyone in GM.

I know 'witch', known her since I was lvl 100-something. She'd get my vote in a second.

Although not sure if that would be a positive thing.

You do seem to endorse at times having GOLGREN... uh, "empower" boots at times, which does bring to question your judgment!

But at the same time I am quite in agreement with your FT version of "The Cask of Amontillado," and the song that goes with it, so the pendulum does swing that way I believe!
