Same happened to me. But once talk with mercenary again and the quest will be fixed.

talked with him again but problem stays.
from.earlier posts hete i beleave my quest has to be reset first.

Almost 3 weeks now.
send 2mails to GM Inbox and one to an admin (still in outbox).
After a reply that a report had been made and an admin needed to fix this known problem nothing has
happened..

i know theres only a few admins, but it would be nice to at least know who, if anyone, is busy with it (or get at least a reply that it might take a while)

As it is the GM Inbox system makes the whole situation much more unclear since you dont know who is reading your mail and you start wondering if maybe the different mods or admins are thinking someone else is handling it.

All in all grinding is no fun atm since i know i would have had 20free lvls from.quests without this bug.

And it being a known.problem with known solution and an admin asking in this tread if anyone has this problem..
