play with only one active GM is different than have many.
people should remember this before pushing, asking stupid things and insult them all the time. this times are showing the difference between having them or be alone.
maybe would teach a lesson

Fare the well. May the road rise up to meet you, and may the wind be always at your back.
OH MY!!!!!! Another sad day, as one of my earliest friends in the game leaves.
I shall protect your "Rock" Elgur. Feel free to drop buy for a coffee.

Goodbye by friend.

I HATE SCAMMERS ... If this game dies, or if it is reduced to a game people do not want to play!

I BLAME THEM AND THE CHEATERS!!!

Scammers have had control of Map 0.0 for a long time. So sad.
JAIL FOR LIFE <---> FOR ALL ACCOUNTS <---> IS NOT ENOUGH FOR A SCAMMER!
And I would apply that for scamming someone JUST ONCE!

A reported scammer get's jailed while being investigated as well!
Falsely reporting a "scammer" gets you jailed as well!

Agreed. Well be hanging around still, so if you wanted to pop in and chat that is always available.

Honestly, I could sense a big change in the air after the trade abuse case emerged. I have no doubts as to the amount of work involved with that, and I certainly appreciate all that the past and present team members did to address the issue.

Scammers? Yes, I would agree that a harsher sentence would be great. However, fixing the underlying issue would probably be a better option. Cut down the amount of future work that would need to be spent on jailing accounts if the issue could be fixed. There are undoubtedly many more issues than there are reports. Getting scammed 2b on a pet (hoping I never see a report for a scammed special skin trade) is a sizeable chunk of gold for most accounts, but there are undoubtedly smaller-scale scams as well.

Compbatant is urgently trying to fix this too.
Scamming and autoclicking will have code fixes to prevent them.

The staff team will continue to severely punish offenders.

Sadly I have RL commitments (even though I'm retired) and am my husband's carer, so I don't have as much time to devote to GM in FT as I did.

You will see me around more often in December, and will try to organise some Advent events towards Christmas time.

@ Arashiko thank you sooooooo much for your post.

Yes, sometimes being retired means a busier day than when we were working.

@ Compbatant - THANK YOU!

I am shocked to see this, but on the other hand I do understand the pressure of life being on a individuals shoulders I myself have a wife and 3 kids a full time job hands on hard labor setting up homes from daylight to dark some days but some days I can get lucky and be home by the early afternoon. I understand the struggles you all go through and on top of having responsibilities as a game admin or moderator can be overwhelming for a being that already has multiple duties before hand.

That being said I wish each one of you the best of luck in your future and relief to you all soon. You have been great blessings to forgotten tales and all the players. Your work your knowledge and words has been inspirational to me and others.

Thank you all for what you have accomplished and best wishes from LordSeth and his family and friends.

Yet, here it is: I resigned yesterday night.

The plan was writing a post about it, right on the spot - but I was too shaken by this change and needed time to find a proper way to word it in a public post.
Well if there is such a proper way, as it seems I cannot find it.

I've loved being in the staff, any single moment of it - even during the hardest days.
This game has so great a community, and the staff group is simply amazing.
It hurts to leave, yet I have to.

I am going to keep on playing - as long as I can - and to be around.
Friends can contact me in forum on my non-staff account vasinta.

(I am locking this post, to give staff members time to comment on it if they so wish - it will be unlocked soon so then everyone can write a reply)
and Ft wonders why they lost 3 GMS, wake up Compbatant
