I'm going to admit getting 3 gifts, 2 on LK and one on an alt that I logged on in Ardesia.

Because of those gifts today I can and I am going to do better than that. I am going to "give away" a complete set of 1k gear I loaned to a friend and I already know I will need some of that gear for upcoming quests. So for the 2 extra gifts I will give away 9. Merry Christmas.

Also today I will mine a little more and rebuild the stock of Mithril Miner's Helmets that my Christmas alt, Jultomten, has been giving away. Now I do not care if they are alts of higher level players or not but most are level 1 to 4 or 5 when I see them. And I do it at night when it is easier to see who need one.

Whoever it was that took on the role of "Saint Nickolas", my heartfelt Thanks and best wishes to you and yours for the entire Holiday season. If I am at another event, I will X any further gifts.

But know this: your efforts are being duplicated by other players - maybe not to the breadth or depth you are doing but we are doing it from our "work" and stockpiles.

Adding an edit here:
Please note: I never "asked for anything!" I was just stood there.
The first time because I was told green chat "Banktown! NOW! FAST!"
Second time, well, I live in Ardesia .. and I'm crafting helms
My alt was there to watch and save me a place at my house so I could craft.

SellSword wrote: Wed Dec 25, 2019 5:04 am Walked to Ardesia because I have a house there. Saw a crowd and lots of demanding. Wow... Pass on that.

I'm sure that I can find some rewarding things without that.

Obviously some people got more than others and some people who weren't entitled to anything in the first place are upset they didn't get anything.
totally agree it was a horrible thing to see so much begging.I want to say thank you to all involved in setting up and giving.merry Christmas all!!!!
