There are two system messages (orange colour). One an invasion at Martek's and the other an invasion at Ashdown Village.

In both cases they are swamped:by knights and sieges (martek) or pirates (Ashdown). They are a nice way of earning xp at lower levels, and annoying when high levels decide to attack there as they gain no benefit and spoil it for others.

Ahem - sorry, that's for another day...

When you see the system message at the top of the screen , head to the relevant map and you will see.

OH you have not found out yet.
Don't worry in time they will not kill you and you can just stand there and let them attack you (tanking) to let lower levels get the kills.

If you live around Martek's you should handle the invasion the same way you do in real life when family wants to invade your house: Pretend you aren't home!

In FT since you're visible on the map you can just go a map down and chop Cashew's house or something until they leave.

I will watch out for these invaders and I will search for Cashews house in the meantime.

I'm not going to tell you where but Map 2.-2 comes to mind. Cashew loves cats, he purred all the time.
It's his "Cat Tree House", also "The Cat House".
Probably the most chopped down tree in FTlandia.
