i got the ring of protection. found the npcnear the two closed doors. and see abother one behind them.
but the npc has no quest bubble. and doors will not open.

witch,miner and forester on the new map dont talk anymore, neither do cook and witch in old map.

do i need some kind of drop to open door or talk to the npc in front or behibd

why cant my lv153 freya not wear lv150 elite gloves?
archer can.

Never mind . i just realised that the dex giving gloves are for archers, the arm giving goundleds for melee.

not sure about mage yet.
mages can wear dex gloves

there's a sneaky quest #1 here: after you got the ring, check your quest book, you have to meet ascanius now!
sneaky quest #2: talk to forester after ascanius kills you!

got a lv200 gloves drop:-)
