Forgotten Tales

Today I continued with getting my crafting skills up a bit.

Items: 3 - 8012/80k
Axe: 4 - 231/800
Pickaxe: 5 - 625/1600, and
Fishing: 3 - 124/160

Then I went to visit the dungeon under Silverwood - likking red monsters has been a hobby of mine for a while now.

And again thanks to LIZARDKING (aka: LK1 and I'm LK2, see a couple of post above) for tanking and helping me mine mithril. I'd never get it at this level without a good tank.

And we had a little training lesson, I taught LK1 about the three sword skills I have --- cool beans!

Well, used up all my Mithril Ingots - no pickaxe ... I'll keep trying.

But I gotta show you this. Big LK (aka LIZARDKING or BLK or LK1) and Little LK (aka LostKnight or LLK or LK2) {Are you confused yet? I am} hard at work in the Mithril mine. (aka: LIZARDKING's basement)

I can't take screenshots with my device (disabled due to fat fingeritis taking a dozen or so a week) so LK1 took a couple of screenshots at my request. Little did he know I wanted proof as to who the boss was:

It's very clear with that: "Yea that's it!" that LLK is directing the mining operation ... don't believe me ... have a closer look:

Yup, LLK is definitely directing things here.

OK OK, this is all in fun, if it wasn't for LK1, LK2 would be so much "mush" on the mine floor, under the thundering clubs those red monsters wield.

Lost you are a machine. Belting craft skills whilst levelling. There must be 8 days a week where you are:) other than this 5 min time out you are the best thing for ft for ages. Keep going mate.

Well, I am retired. I get up when I wake up, between 07:30 and 09:00ish and go to bed at 02:00-02:30ish so long days .. long days = more time online.

Other than my obligations as a jack-of-all-trades at home (my wife calls me McGyver on occasion) I'm pretty will free most of the time so I'm here on on my tablet. Oh yea, I'm the guy that runs to the store and such as well. If I have to do some place - drug store, bank blah blah I walk, 16 blocks out and 16 backs (between 15 and 18 really) ie: Bank and back if there is no waiting: 16/16 @ 40 minutes. Doc said I have to walk and look after my weight after the two stents went in 20 month ago. All checkup have been perfect! Oh the stents, found blockage BEFORE any problems as I insisted on a full checkup, found the blockage on a Wednesday and stents went in on Friday. So now my wife also calls me her IronMan.

We got our tablets in August, as anniversary presents, I have deleted all the crazy games I started with and only have FT MMOG, FT RPG and Sudoku on my machine now. Have not touched Sudoku since FT was installed, play it (real book) every morning at breakfast though.

Not sure if I'm the best thing going for FT in ages or not but FT is the best thing going for me in ages. I have a hard time remembering things at times so running around doing quests ... Oh I remember where that is and off I go across FT World only to realize it was one map north or south of where I was originally ... has gone from frustration to {oh oh, did it again and walk back} I'm not going to tell you how many times I went to the wrong place looking for my house either. {blush} I'd have problems winning my own contest except I actually have it written down (to check with PM's when they come in - you believe me right?)

Have I said I LOVE THIS GAME and the people (well not ALL) are AWESOME! The people in this thread however ... all of you that have participated here, are: AWESOME! Would love to be sitting at a big round table in a coffee shop someplace with each and every person that has had input in this thread, chatting about the game, sharing tips and tricks. Oh yea a coffee shop with free wifi too! {grin}

Someone in the top left corner spawning like crazy, must be high lvl and using pets. other than that I'm alone just south of the entrance. For now!

Amen to that. This thread has encouraged me, lifted me up when I was down, glued pieces back together and then gone out with and helped me get to where I am. I would never have done it without the people here.

Unfortunately not all storied in FT World are good. Like this morning:

12-11-2017 14:54 so this happened about 14:40±

I walk into my favourite hunting ground to fight red monsters just south of the entrance. There is a place where spawning one is a given! So hunting one-on-one is easy as anything.. I see a dot there, cautiously I want down until I see a Knight(175) and blink 2 red monsters appear - coming for me.

"You take one . I take one" we shared the kill. I turn to leave and again two appear, we share those, in walks an ogre(28x) with 2 pets and parks them right in the alcove where we are and does a quick two step. We're', LK and K(175), swampled, my life line goes low yellow I move away and I see the knight type "kill!" the ogre moves in and starts killing, I type "need health" when I get it up, the Knight(175) is redline I send a +1000HP - rejected with a "no ty" and he leaves. I kill one of two that are left as the ogre kills the last one. Then he spawns a bunch and I'm surrounded, he takes the part of the spawn that went to him and moves close to his pets. I move what he spawned that came to me and took them to him and his pets and start leaving.

"Nooooo I tell GM" he types.

"Go ahead, you came with your pets and spawned two of us." and as my virtual keyboard vanishes I see I'm surrounded again by his spawn as he was leaving. I left ASAP we stood outside the room together gaining health, I'm redlined again! I went back in the place south of entrance is empty, I wish the knight(175) was back, one each was nice.

Then I had to leave, wife woke up, had breakfast and I had to go to the local supermarket for drinks (pop for Canusks, soda for Americans and gaseosa for Spanish speaking people ) and coffee, seems our nieces "might" come today. That's why this post is late.

EDIT: YUP! Helping a Russian Knight(82) just about kills me tanking for him - one-on-one but he's getting EXP

EDIT Not so good ... that ogre came back and this time I died trying to protect Russian Knight(82) ... I "think" K(82) made it out, I couldn't move thanks to the spawn. I have a few choice words that would get me banned from the forum for this OGRE!!!!! AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH! won't!
