Does not work.
I only have 1 alt, famous, which is level 120, created with the "Syor" link. Never received anything

Did you guys follow the instructions here? Also, the referral program is for recruiting a new player, not leveling an alt. There is a big distinction there...

Using this thread is not good for bug reports in my opinion. The initial post raised a few issues and none of them are bugs as they have been working. Adding more comments here does not make anyone think it's a new bug report.

I agree. This is made clear in comp's initial announcement about the referral process:

Stop! The rule is clear, you bring characters to receive levels. If Syor brings Syorina, and Syorina grows, Syor should receive levels.
I didn't create Syorina for this obvious reason, and it's stupid (in my opinion) to create ALTs to make levels with the main PG (I'll do 2 levels with Syor before 30 with Syorina).
Having said that.
It didn't work.
In my only experience it didn't work.
Unfortunately I brought some friends but they didn't make it to level 30 
does anyone know if this addition still works?

The wrong way to collect new players i think

Level links to new players DOES work. I have tested it in the past, and recently as well.
I cannot explain to you why it is not working for the players in this thread, because I don't want players abusing level links. Suffice to say, there ARE reasons why it isn't working for some players.
