Got one more lvl this morning 150 > 151
Shared a few items I managed to collect after Saturdays post, 2 above, that I collected after that post.

Saturday evening I tried something new, mithril mining by myself. Made it in, cost me 5 +1000HP killing the 3 red monsters that made it to the mine with me. Filled my backpack with ore and converted it to mithril ingots and collected a few I had left over from a previous trip. Tried got a Mithril Pickaxe - failed.

Went back with two "shop pets" that got killed leaving, because instead of leaving with me, as agreed, another gamer said "Kill me! Please". "No!" and I left, I won't do that again, so I did a second and third solo with bare essentials in backpack. Ended up with 3 fails.

But the real ending of the day was when I was a victim of "spam sell", after the 4th popup, I was taping the the screen "down" to get away from this guy and end up clicking the (green ckeck) - 10m gone for a lvl11, Earth Axe! It's not so much the 10m but the being ripped off part! Pistachio, sorry for the /w but I was "GRRRRRR". My apologies.

This game = live and learn --- just like RL!

Went up another two lvls last night = 153 to start the day today.
This AM, I fired up the game, I was ½ way to Silverwood.
xp was 2655/51950 (if I did math right, important for later)

Yesterday:
Started the day levelling with the Twin fighting Blue Vlads and stopped that to help two friends.
Remember the guy that died in a sneak PvP attack as he was helping his friend. I spent a nice part of my day helping them, ogre(78) and fairy(18) by the end of day it was fairy(23) but wasn't involved in all of that. I had some magic equipment that she* needed so I lent it to her. Like a lvl 15 and lvl 20 wand - which she did give back.

So getting close to the end of day got me I wake up the Twins, pump them full of coffee and went hunting Blue Vlads again. Stopped where the "snow men" are and managed to grab a couple Solar Amulets to go with the few I had to a total of 5. Then headed south. to "my spot" from the looks of it the whole area was empty. and just the way I walked in I started an auto-spawn like I had never seen in that little corner. After a quite bit of time I noticed one of the twins lifelines go from green to yellow. I make the short trip west to the next map, pause and health up. Did that 3 times for 2 levels, and 22 Dark Mage Wands (lvl 20) and at 72k a pop. I'll bet I have sold over 5m worth over the time I've been levelling up there.

So I head up to Map 0,0 selling the wands and started fishing ... I see "Buy Soul Stones". I have some extra, so I pop up; "NAME: How much?"
Reply: "I need 5 will pay 24m for 5" OH MY!!! AWESOME!
Follow me, and we go to my house, a very very fine house, and I withdraw 5 click on him and Sell #1 for 24000000
He rejects and says I pay on last stone.
I said: "24m on first stone"
"Bye"

Now I smell a scam as my friend at M 0,0 said as well. The guy gets 4 and walks away, I'm $0 and less 4 stones YEA RIGHT! NOT!
He said I should have sold as "each" which makes sense. So that how it goes from now on

So back into the house they go, and I have a LOT more Meteor Stones, so I grab a dozen and head to May 0,0.
"Sell Meteor Stones 5m each" a few times. Not many people .. no takers, run home and put then away and thought, "lets kill a couple of RMs as it almost time for bed. Never made it, my wife stared turning light off ... that a sign.

So, this AM I fire up the game, closer to noon, cool rainy day here helped us sleep in; sleep in; sleep in; sleep in some more!
And I finish my way to Silverwood. And as "fat fingeritis" struck my finger decided to click on "Door #2, Monty, for Ghost Orcs!"
Ducked back out, took a deep breath and said to myself, "SELF, Let's do this!" and went in again, fully prepared to die!

Walked around the entrance area. Nothing, stone mining in north east corner. WHO would want to mine for stones here?

OK, so I head south into the tunnel. RED DOT above me! Run back to entrance area and stop, I'm tapping the attack button, on first swing I start tapping the "Always Hit" skill. I was told it negates the enemies DEX value. When I see the blue field I check the info of the monster I'm fighting.

WHITE ORC - Dex: 100+ I can't find him in the enemies.pdf and didn't write it down.
My Dex: 80 so I figure - I'm dead here, but I'm going out fighting
From above: My xp was 2655/51950 (if I did math right, important for later) starting this.

My finger it tapping the "Always Hit" constantly throughout the fight, wanting it to restart the second it's available.
Started "Always Hit" 4 times during the fight and when he went down my lifeline was yellow. Pause to breathe deeply and healing up

Checked my stats: did the math; OH 660k exp points.
Repeated the process and killed a total of 6 ending up: ex 5615/51950 OH YEA! I Like it ....

Time to continue with the day... on the way out I stopped in the little room with two stairwells and killed a bug that an archer had spawned on this side of the wall, he was yeoolw line and surrounded, I quickly sold it to him for $0 and see a "Tks man" continuing our I get to the area where he is. And as I passed a couple of bugs stuck to me so I stood still tanking until he finished what he was killing. "Tks, I only need 100k to lvl) He was at (49) so I stuck around and tanked for him until he got his 50.

Logged and went and made three coffees, drank mine during this post ...

IT'S GAME TIME!!!

Newbie Gamer <-- That still applies to me, I have only been playing since mid September, and this is my first ever MMOG so I came with no previous learned experiences.

I almost quit around lvl 40(ish) but the people here kept my spirits up and helped me
I owe so much to you all. And to some that have not posted here, but read as guests, identified themselves in the game and helped me.

I would NOT be where I am without you. So where I am is a part of you guys!

That's why I keep this thread alive, so you can share in my exploits, be they good or bad.

I have learned a lot from you, you deserve to know how it's going.

Reading of your exploits has encouraged the Bee to wreak some havoc upon the evil forces of the FT world again as well... I found a sword today which may be of interest to you. I fear you are not yet prepared to wield it, though I sense that you soon will be. When you are ready for an upgraded blade, let me know and it is yours for as long as you need it

Well being the new guy in FTlandia I had no idea that you were ...ummm... semi-retired. But welcome back!
I was told how important you were in the earlier days of FT. Graphics, maps, etc. So I am reaping the benefits of your hard work. Thank you.
And I'm honoured that my exploits have revived you. I'd invite you to my house, it's a very very fine house, for a coffee (or your choice of beverage) but you have to find it first.

I have a blade or two in reserve. I'll let you know what I have, if what you found is one of those, do what you will with it. And thanks for the offer, it may be something I need. Who knows. (ummm when the server comes up)

Now, what chest did you say the "Free Lifetime Pass to Blitzbee Island" is in? I understand it comes with with Super Blitzbee escorts to protect you as you wander the island too. {insert: one really big cheesy grin here}

Not sure about a free pass... but learning how to command a dragon to fly you there sure would be cool

Did you know, that on that site... the animations for the dragons do include flying?
I haven't actually looked at them, but I noticed it earlier today when I was on the site.
Now, if someone who was good at designing game content had that info....
I bet they could do some neat things.

NICE IDEA!!!! Only another 165 levels to go to get Golden Dragons!

This thread was a fantastic read. I hadn't gotten a chance to read this until now (wanted to be able to read the whole thing in one go) and I knew it'd take me a while but it was totally worth it

It gave both smiles and feels, and I'd encourage anyone stuck in the rut to give this a read. Not a skim or a few pages glance, a front to back read. As its already been said many times in this thread, pwease don't stop
