@ Cashew, I'm still exploring on my own and learning things. Checking out areas solo to see if the Twins would be safe there. Checking for new quests with NPC (what does that mean?) etc, etc.

Thursday GOLGREN came out, war over, a truce, a win/loss maybe peace declared, I don't know but we went grinding with Ghost Archers, Tough little critters those. I was at lvl 159, GOLGREN read it wrong and thought 199. Ahhh someday.

Yesterday I took the Twins out and did away with a "few" Blue Vlads, a lot less exp for each, but they auto-spawn at just the right rate that I rarely have to break off to heal. There a 3-4 second pause every now and then - I let it happen to heal the Twins. Not being a mage, fairy I can't help them that way. Might take a little longer to level up than some of the "massive" spawns I see some higher lvl players make.

But safe makes for a longer life. Anyway that was 2 levels.

They I went to give some stuff away. It's getting harder and harder to do? Asked a player, "Want some free stuff to sell?" "Sure" he says - and walks away. Other I help level up, explaining the idea of someone "tanking" for them, what the portals are for. Banking extra storage. Skip ahead to today - one mage(3) showing tanking and how it works.
"This must be pretty boring for you."
"No I like to help people."

Showed him the Magic Shop and since he was still in loin cloth and wand bought him some basics.
"WOW Thanks. What do you get out of this?"
"Just a good feeling for helping."
"Thank you again"

Then I showed him the bank.

Back to yesterday.
After I levelled up with the Twins I get an invite to have a shot at "Devils" OH MY just getting a few with Flame Sword and letting J Valdez finish them of and I level up to 163 faster then any level to date!!! OH YEA!! GREAT STUFF!

always a good read - just for clarity though, mages/fairies cannot heal their pets either... no worries about that

OK before I get into the game and people see something different with me. I have to write this post, it's not all good news, and not all bad either and some spectacular news. Like look at that lvl 166 down there YEEEEEHAWWWW! more on that later.

A lot of what happened has been wiped out by a bad experience and my being really angry all day!

The Bad: I lost another twin. So you'll see me with a green spider today and one of the Twins.
There I was levelling up with the twins just at the cross roads NW of a tower in the SE corner of 1,-3. The auto-spawn is perfect for me, six to nine Vlads, then a bigger bunch, then 6 to 9 again and a short 3-4 second pause (heals up) then it starts over again. All of a sudden nothing, I check the mini-map. big spawn just SE of the tower I'm at. I circle down to tell the guy he broke my spawn. "spanish" was the reply, so as best I could I tell him he broke my spawn. By this time the twins had killed what he had. I go back to my position and he starts again again I go to tell him ... he leaves. I go back and start the auto spawn again ... I'm watching the twins health and all of a sudden this player runs up to me, pauses a split second and RUNS for the map edge. A BLUE MASS behind him: Dragons! By the time I was free and running to the map edge one Twins was redlined and was killed instantly bu a ghost archer! And I saw the same player there, as soon as he saw me he ran. When all was said and done, I had one Twin left, at low yellowline and I was ANGRY! Yes, got his name and /time and /pos and sent a report. Doesn't help with the second lost pet though. So to the mystery benefactor who gave me that twin after my STUPID BLUNDER, I'm sorry for loosing your precious gift. And didn't even get a level out of it yesterday.

The Good: spent some time levelling up my crafting points and spent HOURS mining for Meteor stones to craft a blade, just to cool down. Well my "Mining Skills went from 700ish to 1115 (that's good). And spend a lot of time chatting with another friend, a mage, we joined the game at about the same time. Finally get home and of course the crafting didn't work dumb-dumb, you have to be level 750 to craft a level 750 blade. And I knew that too, just that I wasn't thinking clearly and went mining to calm down. So no blade but felling "somewhat" better.

The Spectacular: Got invited to go Dark Devil hunting in M 0,2 = XP: 4000000 OH YEA! I hit as many as I can with flame sword and get 40% of that with one hit ... in no time 3 levels YES! Level: 166, as soon as I got 166, my host and tank for the time, J Valdez, gave me an option: walk out or die! Well since exp was minimal, and I knew JV was in a hurry, I said "die". As the skull popped up a see, typed across the top: "gotta go pee!"

Well I tell you, that right from the bottom of the stomach, gut wrenching laughter I got from that was the healing potion "I" needed. Thank you Jessie for that healing pill (pee) hahahahaha! Will NEVER forget it!

So there you have it, I'll be crafting and selling things because I need FT gold to buy me a pet ... 2 - 2.5 I think they run. Will be a while.

I don't know who, I don't know why but as they say:
-> never question a miracle or it will go away
-> never look a gift horse in the mouth

Well, the why is pretty obvious, someone, or more than one possibly, is cheering me on being a fairy godmother, the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, etc.

What am I talking about, well, I'm in the mine mining carbon and have 60 slots available, so I open my backpack to check how close to 30 carbon ore I have and there in among the ore is a "pet".

I am a little awed by all this lovin' and help. After the first Twin died I almost clicked on a Blitzbee, but the "Twins" won out, they are special, and this time there was no doubt. The Twins are back!

To you, who gave so generously, I say:
Thank you, I will do my best never to let you down!

Note: That also applies to everyone who has helped me from day one. You are an awesome group of people, so glad I'm here.

Not log ago I wrote a post that had: The Height of Arrogance! in it. Well here's another...that fits perfectly with LordSeth's post here.

Moment ago while heading for the carbon mine I saved two new users, mage(0) & knight(0), from being killed by a bunch of "bandits", well not me, the Twins did, so with the level 0 and 1 stuff picked up I typed (the mage had disappeared, wandered off somewhere to continue his game):

"Who wants free stuff to sell?"
The new knight(0), which I now suspect is an ALT sends a /w:
"no ty. i need help"
"'i am trying to help"
"help me please"
I check - loin cloth with sword - nothing else
i need bracelet
come with me
"you need to earn that"
I HATE YOU!

YEA, walked away from that one, sorry MONTER99, but NOPE not like that, you're going to give knights a bad name.!

lvl 0 - NO gear but "needs" a 90k bracelet and he HATES me --->> Gimme a break!

You know only once that I can think of, I asked someone to help me mine mithril until drop by tanking for me, fearing I wouldn't have enough Mithril Tools for my little Contest. Today I regret it, I have not heard from him since. My loss he's a great guy. Learned my lesson.
