Actually this thread is in off topic so you can talk about whatever you want.

I understand what you are saying but there is already a few other places where this topic is/has been discussed.
I just found another "inconvienence" of carrying 60 "usless things".
I have a bag+extra = 40 spaces
2 pets 40 spaces
Total = 80 spaces.
I in a fight, auto-spawing enemy swarm, I want to pick up that lvl 200 sword.
1. open bag scroll to page 2 to drop a stone, and
2. pick up the lvl200 sword. It's in slot 80
The fight continues, I loose a pet = I loose the sword!
And if that pet has all good stuff how do I dump 20 stones in time to pick up 20 good items and continue the fight?
I should go into the Spam Selling business. Seems to be a profitable business.

Let me clarify.
This is off topic where anything can be discussed regardless if there is another part of forum where an issue has already been discussed.
Also, it seems to me that you are very angry about spam sellers lessening your game experience.
Perhaps you may want to try and make a post under "suggestions and ideas" about this issue since Compbatant reads that part of the forums.
This is just a suggestion that you may want to wait a day before posting if you choose to do so.

Yep, that's number three on my list of things that absolutely needed to be done in this game -
3> Improved player to player trade window (it'd allow item for item trade and disallow these spam selling, thieving low-life pieces of trash from robbing everybody and making people hate the game)

I've got nothing nice to say about spam sellers either.
In fact, when fishing at start, I'll usually publicly oust them in chat, calling them slight names (I won't try for a mute).
"xxxxxxx is a low life spam seller"
"xxxxxxx is a spam selling clown"
This has the added benefits of alerting others to be watchful, and maybe, a GM sees it too at times.
As for accidental purchases... they happen...
So, I take a preventative measure.
When walking down, I try to tap (click) to the left or right of where the purchase icon is... this way, you won't buy if they sell something.
If that's not possible, try and use the joystick for walking straight down.
Another thing of note:
spam selling is indeed a violation of rule 9
and trades are logged
if it happens, report it

Ah, you already wrote it, MadMagus!
LostKnight, send me screenshots of spam trades attempts, so at least I'll warn them, and if they pile up on the same name...
And yes, trades are trackable. If you send me a PM with details on the spammed trade, I will appreciate it, you will note nothing and the seller won't be happy

Yes I was was/am angry about what happened. The this isn't about the amount, it's the principle.
The first spam seller that got me, walked away 10m richer when I really did notice it.
And as I have said I have given away millions quite possibly over a billion since I started (OK, maybe an exaggeration, but million
s easily!). Very rarely do I give away coin today, because people here said, "help and equipment" so that I do and I hunt for boots got new people if I see they meed them and they are willing to wait at Bank Town.
@ everyone reading - I don't hate this game (reference by Blitzcraig "and making people hate the game") but I do dislike the spam sellers. And I understand how some can come to hate this game if they get stung by spam sellers to often for too much.
@ Blitzcraig - I wish you success in that #3. And if that means going through 1 & 2 then hope they are done too.
@ MadMagus - yes, I have seen you at 0,0 doing just that. Thank you.
So, I take a preventative measure.

If that's not possible, try and use the joystick for walking straight down.
I've started using the Joy Stick more since PPTC's and use it especially to auto-walk off screen, and positioning pets. But I still use tap for some things and as I get close to where I want to be "tap" will get me there faster zig-zaging around trees, plants, rocks etc. So...!
@ ardesia - Thank you
And yes, trades are trackable. If you send me a PM with details on the spammed trade, I will appreciate it, you will note nothing and the seller won't be happy
This works for me.
Now back to a game I love!

It's been discussed before but this seems a good place to bring it up.
The option to drag and drop items in your back pack would resolve the issue you raise. If love this to be implemented one day.

BYW: I was being sarcastic with the spam selling business thing.
- Two wrongs don't make a right, although three lefts do!
RE: Drag and Drop - Now that would be awesome! Haven't seen that mentioned in my trekking through the forums threads, but would be welcomed by many I think.
Of course, not being a programmer ... /w softly
Code: Select all
if_drag item1 >> item2
warn "Drop 'item2'
if_response {check} drop item2 keep item1, end_if
if_response {X} keep item2 drop item1, end_if
end_if
Idea from Linux Conky if_match commands

Yes, we need a better trade system.
And, an /ignore command.
Personally, I would think of it as /ignorestupidity... but /ignore is shorter, and less limited
