I like the automatic removal tho as long as they can never join that clan again.
I also like that if a player is absent from base for a certain amount of time they would be kicked.

I do t agree with kicking them for them being gone unless the Duke can extend it because some people have things happen in real life that can be deviating and that would be unfair to be kicked

If real life issues come up is a hard fact of life. I wouldn't be against the duke being able to message a GM to explain the situation, but it would be up to the GM to make a decision on that on a case by case basis. My point is that players that place alts in other clans and then don't use them or once in a great while use them could be weeded out. I would like to state tho that if a duke or Lord has real life issues that keep them from playing that they need to step down and let another clan member that is active take their place.

@ryaca, the thing you seem to forget regularly is how much and how fast ft changes.
A few years ago there were no skills and no builders, mibers. towers were bought with clan gold and they were full health immediate. players sol items for mobths to afford a tower. that is the origin of a lot of gold reserves.
im pretty sure compbatant will come up with a way to use tgat clan gold in the future. its just a matter of priorities.
automatic removal from clan i can see. never be able to join would be rediculous. if someone if absent (work, hospital, etc) for a week or few months (military anyone) he would be banned from his clan.

I am very well aware that FT is a constantly changing constantly evolving game.

If someone has real life issues then they can simply leave the clan and rejoin IF they come back.
My clan has a member that is getting ready to join the military and he has chosen to leave the clan and will rejoin possibly in the future. He made that decision all on his own.
Although I am not against taking the permanent kick from clan idea out of the equation, i stand firm in my belief that a clan upkeep system needs to be in place.
