to make it easier for europeans....
In europe is a 24hr watch.
that means 3:00 could be 3:00 am or 3:00 pm :)
At us is 3 in the morning 3:00 and at the afternoon its 15:00 oclock.

Its a little bit different and if we type in chat it shows us the timezone-time that means maybe 13:42 instead of 1:42pm

Please say if it is am or pm 3:00

lol

greetings...SK:)

I read 03.00 according to the European time format.

That's 3.00am to me in the UK :)

15.00 is 3pm.

Whatever suits really is all good.

I was not going to say anything but now I will.

witch was 100% correct in what she said.

@SK1976

You said you use 24 hour format for time, so you know what 03:00 is.

witch wrote the time correctly in 24 hour format, FT /time or FT /info command, which is the same format that you use: 03:00

You misquoted her when you said she said "3:00" which of course could be mistaken for 3 am or 3 pm. But that is NOT what she said.

I'll bet you do not say 03:00am or 15:00pm

you even used 3:00 for morning but forgot to add the "0" → 03:00
Also, in English we do not use "o'clock" with the 24 hour time format.

I have been a huge fan of clocks watches and weather since I was a kid.
So since computers have come along I create them for fun and enjoyment.

And this morning:

Also if witch said "FT time 3am" that would confuse people. Because as you see above /time and /info do not use the 12 hour format with am or pm

And your 3am is different to my 3am BUT in FT /time: 03:00 is Everyone!

I do have to say, if we want to be 100%, FT time is confusing.
AM/PM usually has the : to separate hours from minutes while military(24h) only uses minutes and never had : in it. Therefore FT time is a mix of both.

↑↑↑↑↑↑ according to that probably close to 75% of the people in the world use 24 hour time in some form.

Even the Thai 6 hour clock - really uses 24 hours.

The six-hour clock is a traditional timekeeping system used in the Thai and formerly the Lao language and the Khmer language, alongside the official 24-hour clock. Like other common systems, it counts twenty-four hours in a day, but divides the day into four quarters, counting six hours in each. The hours in each quarter (with the exception of the sixth hour in each quarter) are told with period-designating words or phrases, which are:

... mong chao (Thai: ...โมงเช้า, [mōːŋ tɕʰáːw]) for the first half of daytime (07:00 to 12:59)
Bai ... mong (บ่าย...โมง, [bàːj mōːŋ]) for the latter half of daytime (13:00 to 18:59)
... thum (...ทุ่ม, [tʰûm]) for the first half of nighttime (19:00 to 00:59)
Ti ... (ตี..., [tīː]) for the latter half of nighttime (01:00 to 06:59)

Excuse me. Which military? from which country?
The term "military time" to the best of my knowledge is only used is the US.
Now I have not researched that so I may be wrong.

HH:MM:SS for 24 hour format is use to be precise, but outside of the need to be precise HH:MM is just fine.

Not all digital clocks/watches show seconds:
