According to reliable sources within Forgotten Tales, the perpetrators involved in account-sharing have now faced the firm hand of justice. At this stage, the players have not been banished, yet the punishment remains severe: their journey must begin anew. After many years of dedicated work by those who uphold order and fairness within the realm, it is once again disheartening to witness individuals who dare defy the sacred meaning of the game’s laws.
But from grim tidings, hope may yet rise. Forgotten Tales stands on the threshold of unveiling something new and joyful in the near future. The reason behind this coming event remains cloaked in shadow, and I leave it to you ,adventurers of the realm , to discover why something significant is approaching.

It has been 13 years since the game was released, and many of us have been here throughout that time. Maybe not every day, maybe with breaks in between, but something has always kept us connected to it. And I believe a lot of that comes from everyone’s contributions. Everyone who works on it, everyone who has supported the game, built something, created something. Everyone here on the forum and on Discord. Many people have come and gone, but for thirteen years, this game has kept us together.
Today, we want to congratulate Forgotten Tales because somehow, after 13 years, you are still here, still alive, and still stealing our free time in the best possible way.
Some of us have been playing since the beginning, back when our phones were bricks and our WiFi cried for mercy. Others joined later, maybe during school breaks, maybe secretly during boring classes. And some players are brand new, discovering the game the same way many of us once did: “just one quest before bed”… which then becomes three hours.
No matter the age, kids, teens, adults, parents waiting for their partner to finish grocery shopping, we have all found ourselves opening the game “just for a moment.”
Because it is easy to pick up, easy to return to, and impossible to fully quit. That is the magic of Forgotten Tales.
For letting us escape reality into a world of chaos, quests, trolls, bosses, and the occasional player drama, thank you.
This weekend, from Friday to Sunday, we will celebrate. more information will come.
Everyone is welcome, and we will be giving out rewards to all loyal and dedicated players who have kept the game alive through all these years.

We want to begin by thanking all of you for the amazing progress we have seen recently. The GM team is truly delighted to see how you take your responsibility, logging in to the forum and reporting accurately. It really shows that you respect the rules.
With this letter and this celebration, we also want to thank the owner of the game, Combatant, for his vision and dedication that have driven us forward for 13 years.
We also extend a special thanks to srGM kyousuke and OantoskaO, who made this event possible. They have dedicated a huge amount of time to ensure a fair experience for everyone. We know it’s not always easy to make everyone happy, but we strive for that in every step we take.
Please note that in this celebration, we want to introduce you to 2 different maps. One is a zombie-themed map, which you have all come to love and many of you know well. The other 1 is more traditional quest maps. In these quest maps, we encourage you to follow your heart and choose the path that truly speaks to you. Be honest in your choices, as they will shape your adventure.
However, on the zombie map, there is a special drop that you can receive. This drop is very valuable and it won't be easy, and if you get it, you must immediately inform a GM (send pm here) so we can verify it. For this item, you will have the chance to win incredible prizes. Please note that the number of these prizes is limited, so it’s crucial to act quickly. Also, be careful when summoning the boss, as there is an auto-spawn on the map that can interfere. Make sure to trigger the boss summon at a different time so the auto-spawn does not overlap. If issues arise, contact GM or admin immediately, and we will assist you. My last piece of advice: keep your pets safe. Don’t bring them on your first exploration of the event maps.

In the final hours when a GM is online, there will be a small giveaway at the bosses. Four players who manage to get an item drop from the boss will receive a minor prize. This time, the GM is covering the creation of the boss.

Today’s Chronicle speaks of finding solace in quiet moments across the realm.
In recent days, a few minor breaches of the laws have occurred, yet no grave or unresolved matters trouble the kingdom. Many adventurers have shown a renewed desire to learn the rules that govern our lands. Still, some long time travelers wander the world without truly knowing them. When met on their journeys, they often stand unaware of the missteps they have taken.
If you know a fellow player who struggles to understand the ways of the realm, guide them, teach them, and show them the path to the forum. Many have already discovered how much wisdom can be found there. Our dedicated scrolls, the Player Report and the Help Report, remain open to all who seek guidance. We strive to answer every call for help.
The GM council is small in number. Only two of us currently stand active in service. At times, an inquiry may take longer than hoped, not from lack of duty, but because we too must tend to life beyond the kingdom, families, children, and our daily work. Our service to Forgotten Tales is voluntary and offered with sincere dedication.
We ask for patience if your question or plea has not yet been answered. It may also happen that a message was delivered to the wrong scroll. Remember that Player Report and Help Report are always available, with links found within the rulebook.
And finally, as the season of Easter approaches, we have been preparing a new Easter event for the realm. Keep watch upon the forum for further news.

Today’s news a Wind of return
It has been some time since the last message upon these boards, but today the wind carries tidings worth sharing. Many adventurers have found their way back to the realm of Forgotten Tales, some returning after a long rest, others rekindling their passion for the journey ahead. This brings great joy to our team, for every returning hero reminds us why we stand guard over this world: to offer a fair, welcoming, and inspiring place for all who wander its paths.
With more travelers once again treading the lands, our motivation grows stronger. We are committed to nurturing a realm where joy, fairness, and fellowship flourish, where players support one another and help keep the world bright and thriving.
And as fate would have it, the season of Easter draws near. Behind the scenes, new creations are already being forged, crafted in secrecy and care, soon to be revealed when the holiday approaches. Keep your eyes open and share the news, something fresh is stirring.
For even an old relic may shine anew, and forgotten wonders can awaken once more.

When we've have not written a newspaper for a while, it is natural for several topics to build up.
The first one is about personal responsibility. I believe most of us are born with an understanding that we have our own will and the ability to make choices in life. Every choice we make leads to a consequence or to something good. If you make a choice that leads in the wrong direction, you learn from it and choose differently next time.
But some players repeat the same behavior over and over again, even though they know there is something wrong with their choices. In those cases it is not anyone else’s responsibility, but their own. Some people learn faster. Others never learn.
The second topic is similar to the first: a player who, despite repeated rule violations, has not learned. This player has now been caught again and will face the consequences: fourteen days in jail and a loss of 15 percent of their levels.
But enough of the unpleasant things, let us focus on what is coming.
Today, yes, you heard that right, today something very exciting is happening. I can now reveal that the Easter event is on its way. We still have some work left to ensure everything functions as smoothly as possible, but keep your eyes open and feel free to spread the news. As soon as everything is ready, we will open the new Easter event along with the updated Easter maps.
I want to extend a big thank you to OantoskaO for his recurring contributions that help the game grow and bring joy to our community. An equally big thank you goes to Combatant and everyone who has been involved in the development.
