I think that the 2k personalized items should be +2. So if you want a plate you will get a personalized plate like the +2

As things are now in the game only weapons and plates/robes have +1/+2 variants.
However, since those items DO exist, stats for personalized 2k items COULD be calculated by those stats (even other gear, to some extent), rather than basic 2k items. That is a decision for Compbatant and the GMs to make, though.
Big +1 to the idea from me, though.
