When all done and said I think the names should be released.
But that's me, probably will not happen.

But maybe a gravestone, that's a "white dot" on the map. Click and:

1, 10, and 100 level
Plus other stuff like pets and skins.

A very conservative estimate is $10,000 plus in value. Possibly much higher.

Which is, putting it simply, fraud.
A considerable damage.
Plus the feeling of honest players to be always a step behind others because leveling is slow and hard.
And some still say they should be free
Agree totally. Well said.

$10,000? Well then they deserve everything they get.

This idea about a list. I know GMs are hesitant particularly as fraud moves into RL rather than scammers in-game...

BUT

When all this is done, there is a scammers list and I really do hope there is another list of those who have defrauded our game. Get the legal side of things sorted first, but name and shame for future reference.

And this links to another point about the importance of the forum. Put that NPC forum guy on start map so there's no excuse for anything. I know it's been said before and I know you're busy, but it might help in the future.

Thank you for all you do. We appreciate it.

I've seen a few of the lists now - and no, I've not seen all the names.
Let me tell you - there are more than I wanted to even try to count.
There is a small chance too, that there may be someone out there that might have got missed....
They will probably get caught eventually, but will it be in time?
If you see anything suspicious, perhaps, you should report it as agreed on above.

This is still a huge issue, and some are really raising a stink about this, so I decided I should try and help put things in perspective.

I went through the long lists, and tried to count - how many players are involved so far.

There are a total of 147 accounts under investigation SO FAR.

Now, with the inter-tangled bits, some names were listed more than once, so I tried my best to watch for those.
But, that list is actually shorter than it should be. For many accounts, not all alts are listed - as I know some of these and their alts.

It is my guess, that the total number of accounts involved is likely higher than 300, and probably closer to 400.
I know many of these to have unlisted alts, and the worst offenders created many alts too in many cases.

Again, I apologize to all for the inconvenience, but the workload involved is not minor. All things are getting delayed to some extent.
Please, be patient, and realize that this is not something being taken lightly, and that you're not being ignored.

You don't have to apologise at all. If some players didn't cheat, then there wouldn't be this situation.

I couldn't say it any better.
It wasn't just cheating, or bug abuse either, they basically scammed compbatant. I still think they should be perm jailed and banned.... But it's not up to me

I think everyone waiting on something that doesn't involve this, should just be patient and try to keep cool. They will get to you, once they finish dealing with these few hundred players who decided bug abuse was fun... I really hope they learn their lesson in there...
