just to be clear, drop rates went down so we can keep the portal open longer without flooding the game with gear and gold and devaluing it

2i m saying drop rate and volume should be up sonon mages got a chance.
3 u saying no drops ruins event. thats exactly what im saying. archers get no drops. non mages at lower end of dungeon gwt killed in seconds and get no drops. ITS A MAGES EVENT ONLY. AND THATS UNFAIR. FIRST BALANCE THE CLASSES. THEN EVENT. SEPTEMBER IS JUST A FEW MONTHS AWAY.

too late im afraid.
and
these first hours the dungeons were full.of mages.
now some are gone, need sleep,work,etc and others may get a chance at a drop. but drop rates went down....
u alreadyflooded the game there ate hundreds of each lv250 item now.
increase drop rate and dropping spawn so others can get items too.

fact is rare items are now suddely free in bulk to mages. and gm team is the one who did that.i cant blame the mages for getting them. but i can blame the team for making it possible.
theteam choose to do this event knowing that it would mostly benefit mages which they knew were overpowered already.
this is a fair criticism - somewhat overstated in my opinion, but the general premise is fair. I would, however, like to point out one thing... you act like nothing has changed since the last time we opened the portal, and this is simply untrue. First, Comp and Gandalf figured out what the problem causing the lag / connection issues were and fixed it... that's big because last time the portal caused real game problems. Second, the biggest complaints before were that 4-8 players in the whole game for all the drops because nobody can compete with 1000+ mages... now there are 7 different maps for different levels.. that's huge! I understand that you hate competing with mages for drops... but at least a level 95 archer doesn't compete with a level 4000 mage now. additionally, very few could even survive for 10 seconds last time, now it's much better, so please don't act like we aren't improving.
I will say again though, that I agree mages are still op, and if that hasn't been fixed before next time we open the Holiday portal maybe I'll look in to creating 7 more maps for mages or something like that - -

i agree obn the tecnical things and can agree that the seperate dugeons are an improvement in many cases.
Ifpossible it would be nice if lower lcl could choose to enter high lvl dungeon if they want. that would be for xp mostly but also would allow some clan tactics.
And yes my critics are not completely objective
Iam the archers champion , don QUICHOTTE of archers and mellee in a lesser extend. real Doom gaveup. but tgere beeds to be another voice then that of all those mages who.just tale the strongest class around. they dont understand roleplay.
cant even write abymore. up 47 hrs now. im out

fair enough - be that voice lol... it is needed.
about choosing a higher dungeon, it's an interesting thought (somebody brought that up in GM discussion today, I think kollex maybe) - anyway there's definitely a lot to talk about there... my big concern would be lower levels coming in to spawn and herd to ruin the map, but it's worth taking about for sure

Personally I'm happy with the way things were set up, both my mage and archer did just fine. Made 1.5B gold, and sitting on 22 250 items and 3 200 staffs. Not to mention the 10+ 250 items I gave away.

because i see rearrows point, i would propose, that we have some extra spawn parties, too. you can then seperate melee from archers from mages, if needed and also, hand out the right items, too.
but as rearrow also says, there are some fixes needed. as craig said, we already fixed the really big issue with game mechanics/lag in these dungeons. that was most important. also, we seperated level. if thats not working, we do class separation next time to try it.
and for sure, high level items are coming. then, also devaluating of, lets say, level 250 items

so the harm is not permanently done imo.

It wont devaluate it that much. Theres a limited supply of them and since they arent in the shops theres no staple price. If your the only one selling it at the time and someone else wants it badly. You can name your price.

I can understand dropping the drop rate on high lvl items but on solors n clubs? less dragons plus slower drop rate... ay least give us something to kill that drops something. I waiting 3-5 minutes in the dungeon with nothing worth killing JUST GIVE ME SOMETHING!!!!!!
