There are a few things I have learned about Argentina over the years. One is the word "maintenance" is only a word in a dictionary. It's not something people actually do here. They "fix" things when they break, but maintenance - that costs money!

So power stations are sadly outdated and being repaired from parts from other broken transformers ... blah blah blah

trains, subways and buses are the same. Very common to hear "grinding breaks" in buses and taxis ... blah blah blah

Yes I have heard. They referred to your cold front on the news here as something similar to "The Day After Tomorrow"

Here, for the last week the days have been 35° or up, today with no power 37°, that's why the power went, too much demand from air conditioners.

I don't use FT time ???
OH ... you mean for the contest ... yes, anything game related I always use FT time ... 4 hours ahead of me.

PS: If you can figure out how to get it here as "snow" - I'll take it! Only seen snow twice here in 19 years. Well, I did go to Canada in Jan 2001 for 2 weeks and went to Ushuaia* in the winter, nice I liked it, but here in Buenos Aires, only twice!

Just imagine... if there was a way to ship snow in a cost-effective way, where it stays as snow...
Some countries, could make a killing.

Canada would be a world leader, but I think the Russian speaking countries would win out on it.
It would be a great industry though...

Many countries would buy...
Plus, it could also double as drinking water if needed - I'd still boil it first, just to be safe.

Just searched for: Dragging Icebergs, because it was something I heard about a while back ...

First hit:
UAE to DRAG ICEBERG from Antarctica to solve water shortage set to last 25 years wrote: Desperate times call for desperate measures, and it doesn't get more desperate than the Emirates Iceberg Project - a new plan to lug giant ice cubes halfway across the world to combat drought in the United Arab Emirates.

NEWS FLASH: Iceberg breaks into a trillion ice cubes as ship sails away!

Penguins last seen heading south again as their home ground (pardon the pun) was broken into small pieces.

Not a whole bunch to say for the past few days.

Been crafting like crazy, I need a mith rod and lost a couple of (shop) pets in the mith mine.

Took a break from that to help a friend get a lvl150 blade as he's coming up to that level. Grabbed enough iron ingots for 5 attempts at the blade. First two succeeded last three failed. 7m to buy 10 blades (2 per attampt) to try this, gave my friend his new blade and I'll make a profit when I sell the lvl 150.

I have given away every mith tool I have ever made as well as all tools+2, this includes mith and +2 hammers.
Now after I get this mith rod, I start selling them.

Today I chop trees looking for magic trunks.
Couple of "beggers" and "spam sellers" out this morning as well.
____ Scratch the idea _______
Idea:
- Anything that you can buy in a shop should have "that" price attached to it, so it can not be sold for more that, less yes, more no.
- things you get free via quests: wasp stings, rings etc can not be "sold" but can be given away or sold in shops only.

EDIT: YEA!!!!! Spam selling now comes in as /msg's AWESOME! Thanks compbatant.
