How about introducing an axe, fish, knife and arrow that have a 25%(?) chance to cause the mage to miscast his/her magic for a set period of time? Cost and % chance open to discussion.

My suggestion isnt so much about balancing classes but more regarding PVP in general. So after a bit more than a month of playing, I find that there are a select few players that have acquired ridiculously high lvls 1000+ who persistently go around and blindly kill players who are much lower lvl than themselves. I understand being in a clan there will be PVP... That is not PVP... That is taking advantage of someone 1/8th your lvl for some extra coin.
What I would like to see is something like this:
Set PVP restriction so that if you are more than 2x other player lvl you may not attack unprovoked. For example; Player JohnSmith is lvl 1000 and wants to attack player JaneDoe who is lvl 499. Player JohnSmith is unable and recieves msg "Player lvl too low to attack" JaneDoe gets lvl 500. JohnSmith attacks JaneDoe. JaneDoe doesn't get one hit and manages to use PVP skill to evade death. This restriction applies to all players in clan and not in clan.
I believe by doing by this, it will give players at least a chance to experience the full game without having to worry about being 1 hit by a much higher lvl player. There are so many people Ive seen that get discouraged and never log in again after being repeatedly killed and camped by much higher lvl players.
Forgotten Tales is a great game and I would like to see more people have the chance to enjoy it.
That's really my main gripe. Otherwise great game

Should have been there when pvp was introduced. Couldn't walk thru trees & diagonal walk non existent. Best gear was lvl 50. The opponents were all friends HAH! GM'S followed us around lurking in the shadows. Creator even played on occasion.

hi all

i have an idea about mages , i think we can make the dex avoid a spells lets say like (every point will add to dex its will avoid 1.5 damage from spell )
for example lvl 100 mage put 170 piont to mana thats mean (475 damage per click ) , and he attacked lvl 100 archer that he put 75 point to his dex thats mean he can avoid (112.5 damage from 475 damage per click )
then the damage from mage will be (362.5 per click )

.
i think it will be more balance for another characters , right ?
its also will be more fair for higher lvl
and if 1.5 not good u can change it to be more fair
thnx

That when Mage is in pvp he/she deals 50% less damage and has 50% reduced heal than in pve. Simple as that.
