I believe that the 500 helm drops from brown minotaurs on kraken island and also in the minotaur maze. 250 legs I believe can only be found in chests or fishing.

500 boots drop from brown Minotaurs as well.

Yes. You are correct. Both items drop from minotaurs. Minotaur hides also drop from them.
