Forgotten Tales

Soo, I've decided to start looking at drawing female characters... You know, I think it simply would give a nice touch if people could choose between female and male. I hope that starting this thread will attract more artists/2D designers as well, who will do a much better job than I possibly could.

I found it boring to keep the swordsman green so I made it blue + changed head a little bit. These efforts are from a far-from-professional paintshopper so don't laugh too hard  It's about the idea...

It's a huge job to actually re-do all the image files. The one I got from http://www.reinerstilesets.de/ has a zip file of the green swordsman with 479 image files Which ones does the game use of all these images?

I don't use all animations from reiner tileset. Download map editor and open assets/textures/green_swordman*.png files. It is much less. Maybe you can do it for
all animation frames?

Thanks, that helps alot. It's a lot less work than I first imagined, the images of the characters/monsters are resized before you put them together into a tileset, leaving me a lot less worried about the details. I'll try and get it done for all of the frames.

This is great adding female and male chars that way there is more options and it is more easy to be original

Good idea there come more and more female players silly little by little that you only male characters can, haha xD.  

creator are you looking for alternative characters for the game?
